About this property

Modern Masterpiece with Paint Red Rock Views in Oak Creek Canyon near Slide Rock

Gorgeous Wall of Windows with Stunning, Painted Views- Close to Slide Rock and Oak Creek

Prepare to be awed and inspired at our home- Painted Views. It is a modern loft home with tons of charm. This 2 story, alone home is located in an eclectic community. The community is located on Oak Creek; and right across from Indian Gardens in Oak Creek Canyon, just a few miles from Slide Rock Park. Its only 3.8 miles from uptown Sedona. Our home sits atop a hill with walls of windows for spectacular views from the entire top floor; which includes, the living room, kitchen, reading nook, master bedroom, and outdoor deck. Our home has natural wood flooring, ALL granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and all top end Bosch appliances. There are 2 flat screen TVs, each with its own DVD player, Direct TV, and high speed internet. We have a fully stocked kitchen (table settings for 8, glasses, pots and pans, knives, wine glasses and opener, utensils, and small appliances) just in case you may be inspired to cook. The master bath has a large glass enclosed shower with multi-level jets and a rain shower head. We have also supplied a blow dryer, an ironing board, and iron. Each bedroom has a pillow top queen bed, and the den has a sofa sleeper that sleeps 2. You will be staying in a luxury modern bungalow only minutes from town.

If you read about the bumpy road in any reviews- let me be very exact about the road. You are on the main road I89 for about 5 minutes out of uptown until you turn onto the road going into our area…. Then you are on a road for about 2 minutes that is a little bumpy. It is nothing a car can’t navigate. The people who say it is bumpy are correct…But it is bumpy for a very small section of your travels. Going slow will help this and be respectful to our community! Remember we are not in the city- roads are not always perfectly maintained.

Please be advised that this home is in a very natural setting, and because of that you will see critters both big (deer, coyotes, javelinas) and small (snakes, squirrels, bats, birds, and all kinds of insects). We use natural pesticides, but even with that (especially in the summer months) you may discover a few small visitors in the home as they seek shelter from the summer heat and monsoons. This home is very clean, but this is a life in Sedona!

Cozy house with views
Wonderful house perfect for two couples. We were here for hiking and exploring Sedona and everything was very close yet we we were away from the huddle of the town. Sitting on the patio you can hear the river in the distance and see the stars at night.

Great house and gorgeous view!
This is a great house in a great location. We were just a short drive to everything we wanted to do but got the quiet privacy that we were looking for. The fireplace in the house ended up being a nice bonus because it was colder outside than we had expected it to be in April. The communication with Sarah and Bill was fantastic and they responded immediately when we reached out to them.

Gorgeous home in an equally gorgeous setting
We loved our stay Sarah's place. The vibe is modern and there are all the creature comforts one would expect at a relatively new property, but the stunning views of the surrounding mountains make it feel like a cottage. We appreciated the proximity to Sedona while also being in a quiet, natural setting. Sarah was a gracious, responsive and accommodating host.

We are north Idaho natives that enjoy the 4 season. We have a heart for Sedona and the year round outdoor activities it provides for our family. We have enjoyed coming here for years, and hope to continue the adventure here for many years to come. We have 3 kids- 12-10-8. Our favorite outdoor activities are hiking and riding our mountain bikes as a family! The above photo is from a recent wine tasting down here! We are excited to share our love of Sedona with you!

Why they chose this property

Painted Views is a modern piece of art! Our place has all the comforts of home too. I have tried to think of everything you need. You will feel like you are alone in the canyon when you are in Painted Views, but you are only about 5 minutes drive from Uptown Sedona. BUT what will make your trip so special is the panoramic view of the egnimatic RED ROCKS from Painted View's wall of windows.

What makes this property unique

The canyon area of Sedona is gorgeous! This home makes you feel like you are apart of the canyon. There are windows in the back that back right up to the red canyon walls and when you look at the windows they actually give you illusions of a piece of art. The home feels spacious, warm, and homey but is very modern too. It all works to make Painted Views an amazing home away from home for our guests.
