Large Lake House for family days on lake, Hunting, Fishing, snowmobiling etc.

Large 4 bed 2.5 bath private lake home with 2 stall garage. This home is perfect for lake activities, fisherman, hunters, contractors and snowmobilers.

We offer a pontoon and jet ski for rent!

We are on 200' of private sandy beach with road that allows guests to pull trucks and trailers right down to the beach. Sunsets on the back porch are amazing. Large lawn for yard games. There is also a Hot Tub (available from April-November), dock, Grill and Fire pit.

The inside is dialed in. Fully remodeled and beautifully decorated. It has a two-stall garage with rubber flooring, mud room, large kitchen, large movie room, Office area for remote work, Wet bar/Coffee bar etc.

The property has no thru traffic. Easy access to town. Only 6 minutes to Hwy 212 bypass road with easy access to town and key places such as Walmart, the public pool and the movie theater.

The house is located on the calm side of lake Pelican which makes it great for swimming, boating and jet skiing. The winter it is perfect for snowmobiling when the wind comes out of the North and creates large snow drifts along the South shoreline.

Very nice, comfortable accommodations. A few thoughts though: 1. The TV remote was ridiculously hard to operate since we are not computer scientists. We just wanted to watch "regular" TV, not concerts, music channels, weird cable etc. We called Trent so as to learn how to watch Thursday Nite Football and he was very helpful. But instructions for TV use should be made simpler. 2.The home has several thermostats but they may as well not be there, since when we tried to make minor temperature changes, the thermostat/temperature did NOT change. An Annoyance! Overall, a good experience.

I am a born and raised South Dakota boy. I wish I could be back home enjoying the greatest state in the nation, unfortunately my work has had other plans for me.
Last year my wife and I decided to purchase what I consider to be my dream home on my favorite lake development in the Watertown area. I know all the lakes and lake properties in the Watertown area and in my opinion Air Haven is hands down the best all-around area to relax and enjoy a few days on the lake in the Watertown area.

My parents live just down the road and take care of the property. I grew up fishing, skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding and jet skiing on lake Pelican. If you are a local, then you are aware that Lake Kampeska has turned into a zoo. If you are a local, then you also know that the South Side of both lakes are the calm side 90% of the time during the summer months. Getting blasted by wind is not fun when you are trying to enjoy the lake. If you want to enjoy mornings sitting on the dock with a cup of coffee or evenings with a glass of wine or a cold beer watching the sun set, then this is the place for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

This home sits on 2 acers, on a dead-end road. It is very private, but not remote. Its 6 min to the Cloud 9 bar for lunch and a few drinks. The bypass road provides easy access to restaurants, shopping and the interstate.

When you are there you will feel like you have your own private lake. Across the road there is a private grass runway that is open for taking off with powered parachute planes. The wide open green meadow on the east side is great for walking and exploring. The decorating in this house will inspire you. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. There are three large Smart TVs, a hot tub, game room and movie room for entertaining.

What makes this property unique

Property is fully open to guests. The 40' x 60' shop is a major bonus to this house. It allows for guests to store their trucks, trailers and other toys out of the weather. You won't have to worry about hail damage, rain or stolen property. You won't have to worry about transferring your gear and it is great to have a place to get setup out of the sun, wind and/or cold.

In Watertown the wind is most often out of the south from May to November. The orientation of this house, the sloped lot and large shelter belt across the road provide a calm enjoyable lakeside experienced that is not possible on the North side of either lake Pelican or Kampeska which can often get blasted by wind.
