A little slice of heaven!
This is the best VRBO experience we have ever had. The apartment was perfect & exactly as pictured. Extra touches like flowers on our arrival were much appreciated. The outside porch overlooking the bay was such a welcome addition. From morning sunrise to the beautiful evening sparkle of the SF skyline, the views are spectacular. The location was great as we traversed the many pathways throughout the neighborhood. Our hosts were responsive, thoughtful & generous with both there time & attention. We can’t thank them enough! Would definitely come back to this little slice of heaven!!

The Sausalito Jewel...
I had a great stay at 503 North Street. I would definitely come back. J & G are the best! Great with communication and help if you have questions. Couldn't ask for a better host. The apartment looks exactly like it does in pictures. The park is a nine iron away, so very convenient for my dog. The neighbors were all very nice. Gave me recommendations for dog grooming, restaurants etc. It's hilly, but that's Sausalito. My dog and I walked through downtown Sausalito every morning to the Marina. Great bookstore there. Grabbed a croissant at Poggio and walked home. Weather was great.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay in Sausalito in no small part thanks to the wonderful home and hosts. Our hots helped us get aquatinted with the area, and the views are truly spectacular. The floorplan worked well for us working from home part of the stay, and everything felt new and bright. The location is fantastic for visits to Napa and it’s an easy bus ride to San Francisco. Wonderful stay.

Joe and Geraldine Walsh have been active in the Marin County community since 1965. For 30 years, Joe and Geraldine were the publishers and co-owners of the "Classified Gazette". The Gazette served 13 Bay Area Counties and was named the San Rafael "Business of the Year". During those 30 years, Joe served as president of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, Board Chair of the Ecumenical Affordable Housing Association, board member of the Marin Symphony and the Marin Heart Association. He continues to serve on two Affordable Housing boards and is recognized as a local authority in that field. He is a recipient of the Martin Luther King,Jr Humanitarian Award.

Joe is a former Naval Aviator Officer, having served aboard the Naval Carrier "U.S.S. Constellation" from 1961-1965. During his career, Joe made 314 carrier landings and retired as a Lieutenant Commander.
Geraldine & Joe raised three sons and now have four grandchildren. They have lived in the same home in Lagunitas, West Marin since April, 1971. In 2020, they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The Walshes purchased their Sausalito home in 1989 as a future retirement dream. They were entranced with Sausalito, with the North St neighborhood and the stunning views from the home. Due to a fire, the house was completely rebuilt in 2004 according to Sausalito City codes including state-of-the-art foundation seismic upgrades and interior fire safety installations.
Joe and Geraldine look forward to hosting you in their recently designer renovated North St, Sausalito home.
