About this property

Family friendly Tahoe Charm with Hot Tub and close to the Lake

Step Back in Time in this Charming Classic Tahoe Log Cabin Near Lake Tahoe. Featuring nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, yet keeping the original log cabin coziness.

Welcome to Gundy's Getaway, a delightfully cozy 'Classic Tahoe' cabin very near the Lake. Don't be fooled by a glance at the map--the cabin is not right on the highway running around the Lake, rather it is a few cabins up in the delightful Ridgewood Road neighborhood. You will be set back from the hustle of the main road so that you can enjoy the sunny deck or time in the hot tub.

Rustic in feel only, this pine-wrapped home has newly remodeled, beautifully tiled, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, flat-screened smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a large deck with a filtered lake view, barbeque and hot tub. Tahoe mountain decor and a gorgeous old wood burning fireplace round out this authentic Tahoe Cabin. Everyone in the family will feel a warm welcome.

A lovely community beach is just a mile away. The cabin is centrally located, close to Tahoe City and Kings Beach for wonderful lakefront dining, shopping, music and a great variety of nightlife including the casinos.

Features:
* Fireplace
* Located close to 3 major ski resorts
* Minutes to restaurants and town
* Close to the lake

Shower
Everything was wonderful with the cabin however, the water pressure in the shower seem to be lacking in pressure.

Quintessential Lake Tahoe Cabin
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The owners of this cabin took great care in decorating it. It's very clean but has sloping issues. I wouldn't recommend for people with accessibility issues or people traveling with small children. Beware, the heater is set at 55 so it comes on during the summer when the temp dips down. The directions require that you leave it on.

Super cute cabin in a great location
This place is exactly what I picture when I think about a cabin at the lake, with a knotty pine interior and rustic furnishings. The upstairs loft area is perfect for teens, and even has its own bathroom. The kitchen window looks out over the deck to the lake, where we saw beautiful sunrises each day. The cabin is just a block off N. Lake Tahoe Blvd, so there is some road noise on the deck, but we still were able to enjoy relaxing in the hot tub and on the swing. Easy to get to beaches and grocery store. Kitchen supplies were great; we were able to make all of our meals while staying there.
