Bring the whole family to the beach this year! Hakuna Matata Beach House has 5 large bedrooms in the popular Sea Isle Community and is a short walk to the beach and boasts 9 beds plus a futon to sleep 14+ with plenty of additional floor space! A recently remodeled kitchen and 2 large common areas, this house is PERFECT for large groups! Enjoy the hot tub out back as well as the large 6-seater golf cart! Down the street you’ll find amazing restaurants/bars (the closest just 3 houses away) as well as a general store for all your shopping/dining needs. Live music most weekends at the large restaurant/bar!!! The bait shop and fishing pier are perfect for those who like to fish and the communal pool, kiddie pool, tennis courts, and large playground are perfect for the kids and families! Come make some memories and relax at Hakuna Matata!!!!

Nicely renovated beach home
“There was an overall lack of outdoor furniture on the back deck and it would have been nice if the house had more than just 3-4 beach chairs for guests to use at the beach. Otherwise no complaints. But the number of beds and space this house afforded our group was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed. You can tell most of the house has been recently renovated. My wife loved the seafood and live music at the large restaurant/bar on the other side of the neighborhood. Overall we definitely liked this house a lot.”

Great stay!
We had a great time with our group at this beach house. We usually stay closer to the downtown beaches but it was nice being away from the crowds and having the private beaches practically to ourselves! We had plenty of space for our group. We loved the bars and restaurants right down the street from the house too.

The owner/property manager was very easy to communicate with. Plenty of space for everyone to stay! Loved having the golf cart to get easy access to the beach with! Fun stay overall! :)

Great Beach House!
A True Gem! Our stay at this VRBO beach house was nothing short of fantastic! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach or to the bar. The house itself is nicely furnished with every amenity we could have asked for. It was spacious enough to accommodate all of us without feeling cramped. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to come back! We found our new yearly rental :-)

Why they chose this property

It's far enough south of the crazy downtown Galveston area that you avoid the crazy crowds and have private beach access all to yourself! Plus restaurants and bars right there in the neighborhood to enjoy along with an awesome community pool, fishing pier, and tennis courts/playground! Riding the golf cart around to all of these amenities is the best part along with hauling all of you stuff and kids to and from the beach each day!
