Overall good stay but not exactly as advertised
Our first impression of the property was awesome. It is a huge space with spacious rooms and bathrooms.
There were some cons. Firstly, the floors in the main area of the house were very dirty. We all walked around the house for a short time and our feet were covered in dirt and black residue. I did mention this right away to the host and did not receive a response. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. The carpets throughout the house were covered in stains.
The house was not exactly as advertised. The house pictures showed slides in the kids bedrooms but they were not there. It also showed air hockey and a couple other games that were not there. The house did have a pool table and darts but they were unusable. The pool cues did not have ends and the darts did not have ends either. I had contacted the host about this right away and was told other guests were misusing the darts so they could not be used. The also told us they never had problems with pool before but that was untrue as the pieces were missing.
I was also initially told that if we needed extra toilet paper (they supply one roll per bathroom) we would need to buy it ourselves. Later they did deliver more and more dish soap.
The biggest con of the property was the outdoor pool. The pool and hot tub were nice but both had to be the same temperature. You could either have it all hot or all cold. We did ask the host a couple of times about this and they said they have to be the same temperature. It was disappointing.
