New construction home on Broadkill Beach perfect for a large family or two families! This four bedroom, two being primary’s, home in Broadkill is just steps from the secluded beach and a short walk to the Broadkill Store. The property takes advantage of serene sunrises over the Delaware Bay and sunsets over the National Wildlife Refuge.

The open floor plan on the upper level includes the kitchen, living and dining spaces as well as a primary bedroom with a king bed and bathroom. The bedroom leads to a deck which is a great spot to take-in the sunset. The middle level features a large primary bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom leads to a deck where you can sip coffee and watch the sunrise over the bay. There are two additional bedrooms (one Queen and one double bunk bed/trundle) with a jack and jill bathroom. A spacious laundry room is right next to the additional bedrooms.

The lower level has a powder room and access to the outdoor shower. There is a covered concrete patio giving space to clean off and store beach chairs and toys. This is also a perfect spot to wash off your fur babies after a long walk on the beach.

The home is fully equipped with all new furniture and everything you need to make delicious meals. The dining room table is perfect for playing games with friends and family, easily seating every guest. Every bedroom is equipped with large flat screen smart TVs.
Broadkill Beach is a quaint beach with a small-town feel. The Broadkill Store has anything you need from ice cream cones to homemade sandwiches and pizza to fishing bait and tackle to Broadkill Beach merchandise. Across the street from the store there are sharing library boxes where residents donate books.

The weather didn’t cooperate, but the views of the beach from inside while playing made up table games was fabulous! I would love to explore the full potential of the house from cocktails on the screened in porch. Two trips back-and-forth the short walk to the beach would definitely rent this house again.

Thanksgiving weekend
Our family of 6 adults and one toddler spent the Thanksgiving weekend at this rental. The house exactly what we were looking for, it was on a quiet street with a dog friendly beach. We had plenty of room for 3 couples and the kids room was great for our granddaughter, it had room for at least 2 more kids. The general store was closed for the season so we did have to go into town for a few items. The ice maker did not keep up with our needs, I would suggest brining additional ice to supplement it. The beds had light comforters, so if your stay is during the off season, extra blankets may be needed. The open concept kitchen, family room and dining room were perfect for us to spend time together. Overall the house was great for us, we defiantly would stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much at this rental property, very nice for a family vacation get together. Great location and easy beach access. It is a lovely home. About the property itself. I recommend paying the extra for the linen service. Excellent packaging, labeled for ease of use, made it easy to know which sheet set went to which bedroom. Living room had no window shades or coverings, which was inconvenient at times and made the room echoey. Some things did show wear, such as the living room area rug, the living room end tables were severally damaged, and we had a smoke detector going off which required us to go out and purchase a 9-volt battery to silence it. Not fun when you have a young infant looking to go down for their nap. The kitchen butcher block knife set was very poor, nothing was sharp. Dull knives lead to cut fingers. Beds were very comfortable. Living room coach showed wear as well. I recommend the owner place a fuel gauge on the gas BBQ tank. As it was a ****-shoot every time you would use it hoping it would not run out. No extra take available and if you run out you have to go out and refill at your expense (according to the house instructions let for review). Limited parking, as you can only park 2 vehicles on the property. You cannot park on the cement area in front of the garage.Returning again without question. Loved the house. Just needs some minor fixes. Hope my review is seen as honest and helpful.
