fantastic!
I really enjoyed staying here for our trip to the "Under the Big Sky" music festival. The campground was about 20ish min away from Whitefish and the location of the concerts. The area is quiet, and right on a beautioful lake. You have access to a canoe and a little dock to paddle around. There was also some fishing stuff (I don't fish) but it was there!! Also a couple lovely chairs and fire pit lake side. We stayed in the cabins that were a part of an old girl scout camp that had been refurbished. Single room, two twin beds with power. It was all we needed! Women's room was a communal area with two toilets (very clean!) and two showers (clean with various hygiene products and towels available). The only bummer was timing my shower/bathroom needs with the other women as we all needed to get ready for the festival but it all worked out!! The main house has a living area and full kitchen for whatever your needs are. There was sufficient parking for us, and maybe a 100ft walk from the car to our cabin. Barron, our host, was a hoot! We had many chats with him and he shared with us his various adventures as a ski patroller and outdoorsman around the country. Whatever we needed, he was there to help. Fantastic gentleman and host, with two very sweet dogs and a precious kitten 10/10 recommend staying here if you are looking for a no frills, country stay while visiting whitefish MT
