Cute place, well maintained
Bed were comfy, everything in kitchen we could need. Not too far in from main road. Parking for two vehicles. Lake is smaller, but that meant calm and warmer too! There are stairs down to the lake, one of our party was elderly and found it difficult but rest of us were all good. Overall attractive, very well set up. Clean. No surprises.

Perfect Family Getaway
This beautiful cottage on a smaller lake was perfect for our family vacation. The host was generous and always available. We had no issues while we were there, all of our needs were anticipated. The water in the lake was ideal for paddling and swimming (no weeds). The cottage itself fit our family of four well with some room to spare. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook dinner (or bake cookies). :) The Wifi worked very well for streaming and working remotely. I highly recommend! Just pack your swimsuit and groceries and head to this cottage for a relaxing getaway surrounded by mature evergreens on a peaceful lake.

As your devoted host, it's my passion to curate a warm and inviting experience at our cottages on Haliburton's Kennisis and Bitter Lakes. I strive to anticipate your every need, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay. Your well-being and enjoyment are my top priorities—arrive, unwind, and let the cottage experience unfold effortlessly for you!

Why they chose this property

This property is very private and peaceful. It is very well treed with a long private driveway through the trees and an undeveloped forested lot beside it and so that you don't see our neighbours unless you are out on the dock. This means that you can have that feeling of finally being away from it all and can have the privacy you long for so that you can simply exhale and relax into your peaceful cottage holiday. (This is so important, many other cottages are built right next to their neighbours and you don't have that visual privacy that we are so fortunate to enjoy at our Bitter Lake cottage)

We are in the most convenient location possible to have access to all the fun experiences nearby for enjoyment all year round. Only 5 minutes to the famous Haliburton Forest (Treetop Canopy tours, Wolves viewing and museum, Snow shoe trails and snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, restaurant, and more) or Kennisis lake Marina (Restaurant, souvenirs, supplies, boat rentals, and sometime even outdoor concerts!), and minutes to cross country skiing, Haliburton sculpture forest, Sir Sam's Ski Hill and Spa!

Here is what you also will get to enjoy while staying at our Lakefront Cabin -

✓ Summertime Toys!

- 2 NEW KAYAKS, 2 Stand up PADDLEBOARDS!

- Majestic hexagon shaped PERGOLA FIREPIT AREA with white upgraded Muskoka chairs, romantic overhead bistro string lighting and an open top to view starry nights

✓ Private Waterfront area for Lakeside Enjoyment!

- Lakefront GLASS sided deck with cozy seating for lounging and spending your afternoon reading or taking in the lakeside views

- Floating dock with Muskoka Chairs and deep water where you can set out a towel to soak up the morning sun or launch a paddle board or kayak to head out to explore the lake.

- You can fish off the dock or just jump off it into the refreshing clear water.
