Relaxation
This house was the perfect location for a getaway. Located on the canal, we loved dropping the kayaks in the water a few times a day to see what we could find in the water. Just a short walk to a beautiful private beach, which is a must in the keys since public beaches are hard to come by. Jeannie was an awesome host. I loved that fact that the house contained small necessities like trash bags and TP. Who wants to travel all day and then have to run to the store upon arrival for these important but trivial things :)

Incredible stay!!!
From the start Jeannie was amazing to deal with. She always got back to me quickly with any questions I had. I was there with my dad, two uncles and my cousin for a fishing trip. It was perfect for us. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked. This property is definitely all that’s advertised and more.

I have a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Yale and works as a Design Director for IBM. I love hosting, cooking and traveling. My earliest visits to the Florida Keys were in the late 80's with my dad. He still comes down several times a year now.

My husband is also a life-long South Florida native who's spent time in the Keys since he was a boy. In fact, I met him kiteboarding in Big Pine Key 15 years ago. He has his captain's license and we enjoy spear fishing, diving and playing tennis. We love spending time with our 10 year old son and my father-in-law in and around the ocean whenever we can find the time.

Why they chose this property

My father lives in Michigan but keeps this property for occasional use, so we consider more of a family home. He's always loved this area of the keys in particular for its beautiful private water access and clean canals.

What makes this property unique

There are very few beautiful sandy beaches in the keys... we have access to one of them here. We're also conveniently located in between central Islamorada and Marathon, so a day trip down to Key West is incredibly easy.
