Welcome to The Breeze Kneez: Your Luxury Getaway in Beachside Village!

Discover the epitome of relaxation and luxury at our stunning home, built in 2022 and nestled in the coveted Beachside Village. Just a three-minute walk from the semi-private beach, you can enjoy the soothing ocean breeze and breathtaking views right from our porch. For a delightful evening out, take a short drive to town to explore a variety of restaurants and the thrilling Pleasure Pier.

Accommodations:

Bedrooms: Our home boasts four spacious bedrooms, each featuring a king-size bed with top-of-the-line, plush pillow-top mattresses and a 55" wall-mounted TV. Each bedroom also includes an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower for ultimate comfort and privacy. Additionally, the Bunk Room offers four beds (queen-over-queen and twin-over-twin), comfortably sleeping six, with an en suite bathroom that features a tub/shower combo and dual vanities.

Kitchen: The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a large French door refrigerator, a bottom-mounted freezer, a pantry with a microwave, and a standalone ice maker for all your beach cooler needs. It also features a 48" gas stove with six burners and a griddle, dual ovens, and a top-of-the-line dishwasher. Coffee lovers can enjoy a standard coffee maker or a Keurig with a milk frother. The kitchen is stocked with 16 place settings, a variety of pots and pans, cups, and all necessary utensils. You'll also find several staple spices in the pantry.

Dining & Living Area: The dining table comfortably seats eight, with an additional four seats at the kitchen island. The living room is perfect for relaxation, furnished with a full-size couch, loveseat, and two sitting chairs. Enjoy your favorite shows on the 70" smart TV using your personal streaming accounts, enhanced by the Sonos Beam sound bar. Family board games are available in the living room console for some fun family time.

Outdoor Spaces: The ground level patio features a propane BBQ grill with all necessary utensils provided. Guests can use the beach wagon and folding chairs stored in the ground-level storage closet. An outdoor shower is available for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach. The first deck/balcony includes a six-person dining table and two Adirondack chairs, while the second-level deck/balcony has four tall Adirondack chairs and a small table and a conversational patio set, perfect for enjoying the view or sipping a cold drink.

The Breeze Kneez is the perfect space for any occasion, whether you're enjoying a solo weekend getaway, working remotely, or gathering with family and friends. The spacious open-concept kitchen and living area provide ample space for entertaining and relaxation. With five bedrooms each featuring en suite bathrooms, plus a convenient half bathroom downstairs, there's plenty of room and privacy for everyone.

Great house!
Very nice beach house. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, beach view and short walk to the beach. The grandkids had a blast playing in the waves as well as riding their scooters. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and spacious home close to the beach
The house was beautiful, clean and so spacious. Plenty of room for my husband and I, our five children, spouses and our grand baby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook along with a great coffee bar! Plenty of towels and lots of extra supplies to use at the beach Communication with host was great. Best on the Beach
Just an absolute knockout. Breeze Knees made this year's annual holiday stay in Galveston the best ever. There were none of us, and we fit with ease. The house would handle many more. Brand new construction and the finish out is yummy. Particularly enjoyed the big kitchen table, roomy family area and great kitchen. Hosts are so thoughtful. The kitchen is the best equpped of any I have stayed in. Great appliances, plenty of cookware and table ware. Towels, shampoos, etc. are all A+. Super responsive and easy to work with. Of course, just a short walk to the beach, close to all of Galveston's many attractions. If they would have let me move in, I would have.

Girl’s Trip
What a beautiful home and so perfect for our annual girl’s trip. The house was so pretty, roomy and the beds were so comfortable! We loved all the nice personal touches like the fluffy bedding, amenity kits in the bathrooms, games, beach wagon & chairs, and staples in the kitchen. We had a minor issue with the lock on the door (due to the extreme heat making the door frame swell) and Jay was super quick to respond. He came to the house and showed us the trick. We will definitely plan another vacation here!

BEST Christmas EVER !!!
The property was absolutely perfect to accommodate my husband and myself, three adult children and their spouses, and 3 grandkids for a long Christmas weekend. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for us to spread out and I was allowed to put up a beautiful 9ft Christmas tree. Even though the freezing weather caused water issues, Jay did an incredible job of doing everything humanly possible to help us stay comfortable!! Thanks so much Jay!!! This will become our go-to place for family get-togethers in the future!!!

Great house - highly recommend!
Great house for our family of four couples and two kids! The house is clean, spacious, well decorated, had tons of towels, and is super comfy. Each of the five bedrooms with its own bathroom were equally as nice. The large stovetop, double oven, big sink, and large dining table all came in handy. The living / dining / kitchen common area was the perfect gathering spot and fit our family of 10 comfortably. The ice maker was such a convenience! We had a terrific view of the water, and it’s a nice quick stroll to the beach with the wagon and chairs available at the house. Jay was great to work with - responds fast and is really nice. I highly recommend staying at this house!

Perfect beach stay
We just returned from a wonderful midweek stay with friends at this absolutely beautiful and spacious new beachside home. Everything was perfect for our group. The house has beautiful views of the gulf and is a very short stroll to the beach thru a quiet neighborhood. The furnishings are super comfortable and welcoming, and the kitchen is stocked with everything we could have possibly needed for meal prep. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to someday go back!! Thank you!

Breathtaking beach house far exceeding our expectations!
Knowing we'd be the first renters of this breathtaking beach home, we were a bit hesitant to book it without prior reviews or recommendations. But we could not have been more pleasantly surprised & happy with our choice! From the moment we pulled in we were just wowed by the stunning exterior and unbeatable location of this brand-spanking new gem in Gavelston Beach. Walking into the home was equally incredible - that feeling we all got when we first stepped in can only be described as blown away. The main floor is a gorgeous open-concept common area that took our breath away. Brand new furniture, appliances, and fixtures that looked like it was straight out of a magazine. The big beautiful dining table sat all 9 of us comfortably and we made incredible memories in the open-concept living/dining area. The bedrooms were equally stunning. Usually our family (my wife and I, two sons in their early 20s and one 9-year old) has to decide who gets the best bedroom, but here there were no arguments - each bedroom was equally spacious, beautifully appointed, and clean. Big screen TVs in each of the bedrooms (except one) were great, though we didn't want to waste any time in this incredible property watching TV!. We arrived shortly before our friends' family (two adults and two teenagers), and watching them go through the same "wow" experience was so satisfying. None of us have ever stayed in a rental this picture-perfect! They were also stunned to have walked into such a beautiful home and get assigned bedrooms that were this fantastic. Being a new rental, everything is brand spanking new, and whoever designed & decorated the home thought of everything and has a super eye for contemporary design and decor. It really looks like it should be featured in a magazine. It is perfect in every way. Breathtaking views from each of the two ocean-facing decks. plus a third deck facing the back for anyone wanting a bit of quiet away from the group. Jay was incredible and answered all of our inquiries immediately and was super helpful with any requests - being so new, for example there was no toaster, but within a couple hours of us pointing that out, one was dropped off at our door. We were concerned that a new rental wouldn't have all of the amenities we had absolutely everything we needed - utensils, bbq, beach towels & toys, new linens - the list goes on. This place is perfect in every way and just steps from the beach. Thanks Jay! We will definitely be back.

Meanwhile, here's a little bit about who we are as owners.

Hi! My name is Kellie. I’m a born and bred Texas country girl, and my husband is from England. Together we run our own business – a full service IT and Design firm. We’ve both been in our fields for over 25 years and enjoy working with local and corporate businesses alike.

We love to travel, both statewide and internationally, and have enjoyed the immersion of diversity, art and culture it has exposed us to. We are also total foodies. If we could make a living trekking the world and trying new foods, that would be the ultimate dream. We have two teenage sons and two rescue dogs who think they're human.

Why they chose this property

We started looking at properties out of state, but then decided we wanted something closer to us. Somewhere our family and friends would be able to take pleasure in as well, without the steep expense of traveling to faraway destinations. A place where we were afforded the opportunity to be impulsive and take a last-minute trip to the beach for a weekend getaway, or just work remotely during downtimes within earshot of the ocean. A lot of our friends were purchasing properties out of state and, while that seemed appealing, the idea just wasn’t the best vibe for us. So, we stuck closer to home and opted for a property on Galveston Island. Fun Fact: The Breeze Kneez acquired its name from the popular British phrase "the bee's knees", albeit with an oceanic twist. It means “something that is excellent”. This nonsensical phrase was believed to be originated in the 1920s, and is similar to the likes of “the cat’s whiskers” or “the dog’s pajamas”. It is today’s equivalent of “really cool” or “it’s amazing”. Though the saying has waned over the years and considered to be a faddish expression, it is still a trending and nostalgic term, loved and frequently spoken by the British, Boomers and GenX patrons alike.

The Breeze Kneez is in an ideal location. It's nestled in a beautiful neighborhood full of visually stunning homes. It is a calm and refreshing environment, but still close to the heart of Galveston. It feels like home away from home, and a bit like you're being spoiled in the best way. A perfect blend. Galveston itself is rich with history. It is a wonderful merge of culture and variety. There is something for everyone, from every walk of life. There is plenty of food, entertainment, sights, sounds, tourism and activities to add to your experience - be it a quiet, relaxing stay or a fun-filled adventure.
