Property Manager tried her best
The property depicted online does not reflect our experience having stayed a month here. Many issues surfaced while there, and as the title states "the property manager tried her best" to clear them up. The home was not clean upon arrival and after spending a better part of the first day cleaning and rectifying all the missing items with the manager, we started dealing with furnace and electrical issues. The next 3-5 days were spent being available to deal with deliveries of missing items and contractors coming to repair various things.
After the first week of this, we had hoped it was all behind us. NOPE. Now we have a backflow of washing machine discharge coming into one of the bathrooms. So now we have to deal again with fixing that drain, it never was. In fact for the last week we could not use the vanity sink in bathroom because now the drain line was cut outside leading to septic field.
Again the property manager tried to help but unfortunately the owners and manger are located in Orlando, 2 hours away. Never did see either one amidst all the hassles.
We contacted VRBO who apologized for all our issues and compensated us by reimbursing the service fee I HAD PAID. Unfortunately, we never truly were offered a sincere apology from the property owner nor compensated adequately by them for all the time spent dealing with the issues we faced. We would have left but had paid in full. Very disappointing vacation property negatively impacted us all.
