Designed to capture the magnificent view of Lake Augusta, the cabin maximizes every inch of its 400sqft, creating an open and relaxing atmosphere. It features one bedroom with a full-size bed and a queen-size futon available in the leaving room.

This cabin is tailored for two occupants. While there is a futon, accommodating three guests is possible.

The kitchen comes fully stocked, allowing you to prepare all your meals on electric burners/hot plates with pots, pans, knives, utensils, and a coffee maker provided for your convenience.

LOCATION

Lake Augusta Cabins is just 60 minutes west from Minneapolis/St. Paul. MN, and 25 minute south of St. Cloud. Lake Augusta connects via channel to Clearwater Lake providing access to 3,158 acres of adventure.

The space is ideal for mature adults, and is not a great fit for small children, or people looking to party (we legally are only allowed 3 guests maximum).

Guests have access to the cabin grounds, featuring 400 feet of lakeshore in 4 acres of wooden land and a unique natural spring. Lake Augusta Cabins provides multiple summer cabins, so you may expect to see other guest in the shared spaces such as the beach, docks, parking, etc.

The beach provides a gradual slope for easy swimming and kayaks and canoe are available for all guest as a first come first serve basis. Guest are welcome to bring their own watercraft.

Outdoor shared space may include fire pits, lawn chairs, picnic tables, and hammocks—make them your own!

PETS

No Bully breeds allowed (bulldog, boxer, etc).
While the property is dog friendly, dogs should be on a leash while in the shared areas.
We do not recommend bringing dogs that are young or aren't well trained, as they are apt to scratch/damage the natural wood, furniture and/or door screens. You will be charged for this, so just want to make sure you know this ahead of time! For this reason we also do not allow cats.

*WEATHER/CANCELLATIONS*

We can not predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Additionally, because our calendar stays fully booked during the summer we have a strict cancellation policy and do not make exceptions. If you have concerns about this, feel encouraged to purchase travel insurance. This is a great option to protect you, and protect us as hosts/business owners. We appreciate your understanding!

Complimentary WIFI is provided, though speed and connectivity are pretty stable, no refunds or price adjustment will be provided due to internet provider outages.

The property operates on clean well water and has discreet septic tanks.

Not as described
Our cabin was very isolated. Only road in, required 4 wheel drive to get close to your cabin. Cabin was run down, only one working window with screen above kitchen sink. Thankful there was a bathroom, but toilet leaked water on floor. Front door had no curtain or blind, only single latch to Lock Screen door at night. Next door cabin looks right into yours, no privacy. Cabins are stacked right next to each other. “Community” lawn furniture was run down, covered with green gunk, or not usable. Reserved for 2 nights, left after first night early.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is located in South Haven, MN and just 7 min drive to the charming town Annandale which offers a variety of activities:

Hiking and Nature Trails: Explore the natural beauty of the area by hiking on nearby trails. Consider visiting parks like Pleasant Lake Park or Collinwood Regional Park for outdoor adventures.

Golfing: If you enjoy golf, consider playing a round at Southbrook Golf & Country Club or Whispering Pines Golf Course.

Local Events: There are plenty of community events, festivals, and fairs during the summer that can offer entertainment and a chance to connect with the community. Every Saturday morning, don't miss the largest flea market in Minnesota just a mile down the road. Upon arrival, you will find the local magazine left at your cabin with details to the summer calendar.

Dining and Shopping: Explore the local dining scene on the lake or nearby towns and shops in Annandale. Discover unique eateries, cafes, brewery and boutiques for a taste of the local culture.

Visit Nearby Towns: Discover Fairhaven Farm a beautiful apple orchard located 7min away and explore nearby towns and their attractions. Whether it's historical sites, museums, or charming downtown areas, there's often something new to discover.

What makes this property unique

Upon your arrival at Lake Augusta Cabins you will find a dirt road with a steep down hill ahead. No worries, there is plenty of parking at the bottom of the hill.

Feel free to bring your water crafts to explore the lakes. We recommend leaving your boat trailer at the top of the road before the gate. Depending on the size of the boat and how busy the parking area may, turning around with a trailer could be limited.

Boat launch is only a mile away on Clearwater Lake. Use nearby channel to get to Lake Augusta. Boats with tall rigid designs should be mindful of water levels as you will need to go under a bridge. Most fishing boats, pontoons and speed boat with adjustable Bimini's go through with ease.

There is a Marina and bait shops close by where you will be able to get all the essentials.
