Firefly Cottage is better than perfect
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend and everthing was perfect. The house looks professionally decorated and sits in a very quiet and safe neighbohhod that was fun to walk for miles. As night falls, the enchanting lights in the backyard transform the space into a serene oasis, inviting you to unwind under the stars. The addition of a hot tub and corn hole adds a playful touch, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. Our stay was nothing short of perfection. Pat and Ken were great host and clearly wanted to have a great time. They left many suprises for us when we arived. We would not consider staying anywhere else if we return to the area.

Pleasant stayaway
Cute small cottage perfect for our family of three to get away from our hectic life. No need to worry about anything. Nicely appointed with special considerations for guests. My son wanted there to be more homemade cookies - delicious 😋 The hot tub was fabulous and the jets were the best I've experienced in quite some time. Dogs are very welcome here as well. Easy short drive to Annapolis as well.

Best hosts ever!
Pat and Ken are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever experienced! They were available at the drop of a hat and always checking to see if we needed anything - more towels, coffee pods, etc. they left us gifts for us and our newborn grandchild - so much care and attention to detail! Truly wonderful, thoughtful hosts! The cottage is adorable, beautifully decorated, albeit small. The lights and “events “ in the backyard are so entertaining and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to experience the spa, but it looked excellent. Thank you so much, Pat and Ken, for a truly wonderful stay at Firefly Cottage! We will definitely book another stay there when visiting our kids and grandchild in the future (hopefully when the weather is warmer for this southern girl!). Thanks again!

My husband I live in this neighborhood. As a veteran family we lived in many parts of the country and the world, and initially thought Annapolis was a nice temporary home. As we raised 4 children here we found it to be a pleasant place to stay. Ken and I have become a thread in the tapestry of the community. We hope that by bringing this unique home to the public, we will prevent it from being torn down and replaced by a large modern house that would not reflect the area's past. We hope to be successful in this goal, and to help our guests to enjoy the house and area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This is our first vacation rental. We loved it because of this amount of light it has. Numerous southern-facing windows allow the house to be cheerful, inviting and warm. The house itself is petit mais puissant, small but mighty. The living room, kitchen bedroom and bath are all a nice size. Each is wrapped in warm light and comfort. The community is quiet, safe and welcoming. We loved the yard and the fact that it sits alone on a 1/4 acre of land. It is quick 8-minute walk to the beach. There is also history and great food nearby. All of these characteristics makes Firefly Cottage the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely holiday.

What makes this property unique

Beach within 0.4 miles, 8 minute walk. Lots of parking. Exclusive use of a small house on a large lot, in a quiet safe neighborhood.
