BRAND NEW (really?) Downtown Doral Studio
I am uncertain as to what part of this studio is Brand New, possibly the kitchen? Otherwise, the remainder of the unit was rather disappointing. Furnishings (bed, chair, couch, table, dresser) appeared to be of Goodwill vintage or college dorm hand-me-downs. The bare lightbulb in an outlet, often seen in storerooms or attics, provided the main lighting in the unit aside from the kitchen and entry light. The extra pillows in the closet are not even fit for a pet, they smell sooo bad. While the bathroom appears to have had some work done, it is sorely in need of either touchup paint, or better yet, a full paint job - include the rest of the unit if the painter is already there. The frontload washer was unusable as evidenced by a healthy growth of black mold around the gasket.
There are sufficient towels for 2 guests, but do not use the pool unless you plan to "air-dry". Otherwise, the view from the 15th floor, parking, and security was nice, however, a normal clean hotel would have been preferred, had we known in advance.
