It was the cutest place. It was just perfect for my husband and i as we were in town for Medical procedure at UAB. Close to everything downtown area.

The place was tastefully updated, had all the amenities you would need, clean and the location was spot on. Overall it was good, however, the entire unit reeked of stale cigarette/cigar smoke. It hits you the second you walk in the door and even made the clothes in my suitcase smell like an ashtray. Also, upon departure the last morning of my trip I walked out to discover that my car had been towed over night. It cost me $168.00 plus an Uber ride to retrieve my car from the impound lot. This was frustrating because I even asked the property manager what the parking situation was prior to arrival, but got no response. Plus, I had the park mobile app on my phone and was constantly paying attention to pay and extend my parking in the lot across the street from the building. The signs on the street and at the front of the lot are a bit misleading. I kept paying to extend my parking through the app until it wouldn’t take any more money, which was 6:00 pm. I thought I was taken care of for the night. However, I found out from the tow truck company that they towed my car around 10:30 pm. The signs and the app do not coordinate the hours of parking that you have to pay for in order to not be in violation, which is a lose/lose situation. The property manager should have been clear about the parking and/or work out some sort of parking arrangement that allows guests to pay for overnight stays. Between the stench of the unit and the parking situation, I gave it 3 stars.

Not even a small thing to complain about - GREAT place!
Property was exactly as described and the overall location couldn't have been better. If you are like us and enjoy learning a city by walking it, this place is perfectly central and everything you could want to see and do is less than a 30 minute walk (or 7-10 minute ride share). We fully expected to run up hundreds of dollars of Uber and Lyft costs, but ended up only taking ONE ride share the entire time we were there because everything was so convenient to get to. The architecture of this place was incredibly cool also and such great coffee, pizza and other shops immediately adjacent. Couldn't have asked for anything more!
