Not happy
Communication was very poor with the owner - in the rooms and beds description it shows 3 king beds, there were only 2. We contacted the owner on Sunday telling them we loved the house and to point out a few items that were damaged before we arrived. We also noticed a lock on the grill so I asked if we could use the grill and we were told it was $50 extra - no where in the listing did it say there was a fee for the grill - we asked about the pool heat but we have never been charged for a grill before so we didn't even ask about it. We also told the owner that we had tried to play the pool table and it appeared to be damaged on the sides so when you hit the side with the ball it bounced and couldn't be played on. They responded back and told me the property manager would be out that day to look at it. They unlocked the grill and told us we could use it for free but would be charged $25 extra cleaning fee if we didn't clean it when we were done. The manager came out unlocked the grill and looked at the pool table. She pulled up on the sides of the felt and she thought it was fixed. After she left we tried to play and the sides bent back down again. I messaged the owner again and told him she was out but it didn't resolve the problem. I didn't hear anything so I messaged back three hours later and asked if there was a way it could be fixed so we could play on it (this was the only game to play in the house) and I didn't hear anything back. On Monday I got a response from them saying they were going to double check and they were busy during the day. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Tuesday and I never heard anything back from them. I sent a message to let them know that we had left the property around 5:00 am and told them what we had done to secure the house and that I was disappointed we never received a response from them in regards to the pool table other than they were going to check on it - but we heard nothing. I told them we weren't even able to use the pool table at all during the stay. I am very disappointed in the communication with the owner. We also had to go out and get a lighter because the ignition on the grill didn't work ( I didn't even bother mentioning that because we hadn't received a resolution to our previous concerns. No resolution has ever come about and we haven't hear a word back from the owner in response to our concern. Not a very happy traveler.
