~ ABOUT THE HOUSE ~

Enter our property through a large private driveway with room for 6 cars. It’s easily accessed in snow since the slope is very gentle compared to most homes in Twain Harte. Our entrances are secured by 2 outdoor security cameras which are actively recording for safety & security reasons. One camera is above the garage door facing the driveway securing our front entrance. The 2nd camera is above the back door securing our back entrance. These cameras protect our guests and our property.

You’ll experience the grandeur of our large 3,300 sqft home as you enter the main door.
- A spiral staircase takes you to 3 bedrooms upstairs.
- another spiral staircase leads you to our massive game room, movie theater & one bedroom downstairs.

- on the right is our formal living room, formal dining room & large kitchen.

The formal living room is furnished with ultra-premium Ashley couches, a coffee table and a cozy fireplace with brick hearth. It creates a friendly & intimate setting for larger groups as well. The large bay windows offer gorgeous views of cedar & sugar pine trees. This makes the perfect setting for a snowy day or a cozy summer evening.

Our formal dining room sits between the living room & the kitchen. The rustic chandelier, antique art pieces & the large dining table makes the dining room a perfect setting for intimate family dinners. Our dining areas can seat 16!

The cooking & prep area in our kitchen is large enough to host a massive feast! It has lots of premium blue cabinets, wooden countertops, silicone mats & premium appliances. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials including kitchen utensils, pots & pans, plates, glasses & more.

The family room has a large sectional couch, a coffee table, a 65” smart TV and an awesome wood stove. It offers access to our large deck (with furniture) which overlooks our fenced-backyard with towering pine & cedar trees. The family room also has our 100 year old chest & a book from the last century.

~ GAME ROOM ~

The game room has games for all:
- a full-sized foosball table,
- dart and toss-a-ring game
- a variety of card & board games: Uno, chess, scrabble, exploding kittens, etc
- kid's play may with hot wheels & more.
We also have a premium poker & blackjack table with 500 chips good for up to 8 people!

The game room also has
- a 125" screen for watching YouTube, Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime & more.
- Workout with yoga mats & resistance bands,
- a large dining/breakfast table which doubles as a shuffleboard table.
- It also offers access to our large fully-fenced backyard which looks at towering pine & cedar trees.

Antiques collected over many years include a 100 yr old chest, books from yesteryears & influences from Gold Country farms!

~ SLEEP & SHOWER ARRANGEMENTS ~

NOTE: If you plan to have more than 16 people (including visitors and overnight guests) or more than 5 cars, please send an inquiry to the host before booking. We can accommodate larger groups with certain conditions.

* Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has 2 king-sized beds. It has a 50” Amazon Fire TV. It also has an attached master bathroom with a jetted tub, a separate shower, sink & toilet.
* Bedroom 2: The main level has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. This bedroom is semi-private. It only has a sliding pocket door to the living room on one side but no doors on the other side. The main level also has a powder room with a toilet & sink.
* Bedroom 3: This bedroom has a king-sized bed.
* Bedroom 4: This bedroom also has a king-sized bed.
These bedrooms are served by a full bathroom with a toilet, sink, tub & shower.
* Bedroom 5: This bedroom is down the spiral staircase. Its a large bedroom with 2 queen-sized beds and 2 full bunk beds. Note: the bunk bed is for kids only.
This room also has an attached full bathroom with shower, toilet & sink

~ House Rules ~

* No outdoor shoes within the house.
* Do not disconnect or tamper with any connected devices.
* No climbing or jumping on deck & guardrails.
* Protect your trip with a Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Travel Insurance.
* High Fire Risk Zone: No open flames. No candles, charcoal/propane grills & fire pits.
* You must have a working phone number on VRBO.
* Exact number of adults, kids & pets required in your reservation.
* Ask for approval if you have visitors. No visitors if house at max capacity.
* Each unapproved guest or car shall incur a $150/night fee.
* Events, company retreats & professional projects MUST be approved before booking. An event insurance may be required for large group events.

Winter/Snow?
* Snow plowing service is additional cost fulfilled by local snow plowers.
* No throwing snow balls on house or windows.

Parking
* Free parking for 5 cars. No blocking street or neighbor’s driveway.
* Parking boats, trailers, motorhomes, oversized vehicles, recreational vehicles or additional vehicles is strictly prohibited without approval.

Pets?
* Dogs ONLY. No cats. No other species of animals.
* Only potty-trained pets allowed. No puppies under 1 year old.

* Maximum of 4 dogs.
* Immediate eviction for pets left unattended, inside or outside the house.
* Pets not allowed in Game Room to protect our games, art & memoirs collected over many years
* Provide breed & age of dogs when booking. Vaccination records may be required. Some breeds like Rottweilers & Pitbulls not allowed.
* A pet fee of $35/night per dog to be paid at the time of booking.
* Undisclosed pets charged $150/night per dog.
* Pets & emotional support animals are NOT service animals. If bringing a service dog, please answer:
