Totally Remodeled 3/2 Home - Historic Downtown

This home was where my wife grew up and has been in the family since 1956. We completed a whole-house remodel and renovation in August 2022. It has all new electrical, plumbing and master bath, as well as remodeled modern kitchen and everything else. The kitchen and laundry room are well-equipped for a comfortable homey stay. The modest home is nestled among million dollar historic homes in old town Bastrop.

Better than the pictures
This is a beautiful home in an absolutely lovely neighborhood. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were all very comfortable, and the master bedroom and en suite bathroom were a treat. We stayed for 3 nights and even though this house is close to everything it is so quiet, during the day and especially at night. We didn't even hear a dog bark the entire time we were there! We had traveled all day to get to Bastrop, so when we checked into the house the snacks were a welcome sight for sure. This house is totally set up with everything you would ever need to make your stay effortless, the coffee and tea setup for the next morning was greatly appreciated for sure! Gary was a great host, he responded very quickly to all my questions, and I would recommend this host and this house to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay if they are ever in Bastrop!

Great Getaway!
This house was perfect for our little friends' retreat. The property was spotless and the host, Gary, is a wonderful communicator. He responded immediately to any questions I had. I highly recommend. :)

Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown.
Great home close to downtown and centrally located for all other Bastrop area sights and sounds. Comfortable beds, nice linens, and spacious living area. Convenient coffee/tea set-up and a few light snacks provided by hosts. Highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Bastrop and Austin area
The house was just perfect as a starting point for trips to Austin and to explore the Bastrop area. Everything is clean and new and there was nothing that we’ve missed.

Golf Tournament
It was a perfect neighborhood and a very nice house with a lot of room. Stayed there to play in a golf tournament with friends. Highly recommend this place!
