Perfect combination of rustic with amenities
The Chapel at Upland was the perfect 2-day getaway for me and my two teenage children! We wanted something tucked away but that also had a pool. The added bonus was the tennis court. Both the pool and tennis court are new and well-tended. Our dog was able to roam the property and get her own little vacation too. The house is cute, good for 4 people. The host, Lisa, is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

I am an artist and mom to an amazing teenage rockstar boy who loves growing up in Woodstock. We have three super cute dogs, and a very sweet cat who roam around the property and will be opening a small farm stand at our property entrance this spring where guests can come and get provisions on an honor based payment system. I love working on the Japanese gardens and being outdoors, I am also an active member of the Woodstock community.

Why they chose this property

Woodstock is the music capital of the Hudson Valley, it offers the best of farm fresh food, fresh air and quiet life. We also have some of the best restaurants and music venues in the area and it is home to many interesting creative people.

What makes this property unique

The property was once a sanctuary for spiritual retreats hosting Indigenous American leaders and Tibetan Monks, it is a wild life sanctuary settled in on the south side of a private mountain, boasting spectacular mountain views and an excellent vibe. The pool gardens and tennis court are fabulous as well.
