Perfect getaway spot to unwind in the mountains

Unit 16A is located near the top of Ski View Drive in Gatlinburg. It is approximately 3.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 11 miles from Pigeon Forge. It is a stand-alone unit with 31 exterior steps and 20 interior steps. The driveway is relatively flat and has parking for 3 vehicles. This unit will comfortably sleep up to 8 people with the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Please message with any questions you have. PLEASE NOTE *PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED* Subject to fine and guest must vacate immediately. Emails received after 4pm will be responded to next business day.

A nice quiet option
The property was clean and well represented on Vrbo. The house is older and showing some signs of needing TLC, but overall, we were satisfied with the property. The kitchen was bare bones, but had the basic supplies - no condiments provided like the listing states. . Definitely felt like a rental property and not like staying in someone’s home. We loved the layout. The living room was comfy and the tv setup was great. The beds were comfy - pillows were a little stiff for my preference but were fine. A couple windows downstairs didn’t lock but we weren’t bothered by that. The grill was questionable working order so we cooked inside instead. We liked the property location for being outside of busy Gatlinberg and still only 20 min from the park entrance.

Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg is a little too touristy for us. Having said that we had a good time. The mountain road was challenging, but we did it without any incident. Nothing wrong with this place. We just prefer lakes and quiet. The house was nice but there were quite a few steps.

Home away from home
Loved that our house was up high on the mountain but tucked away in the forest. It was the perfect size. Check in was easy. We had to do some vacuuming upon arrival due to a lot of dead ants everywhere but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Smokies Trip
This was a great place! Well equipped and Super clean! Only a 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Coming up from Tampa Florida, I was looking for a place that was high up in the hills. Loved walking around the property feeling the cool air all around me. 👍 sorry for the late review.
