Great home with amazing views
We had an amazing time staying at this home. The views were great, house was clean and very quiet. Home sits on lots of land and very private. Watched deer move around the property everyday. Others have complained about the driveway but they do suggest 4 wheel drive. The driveway is mostly paved but does have dirt and gravel sections. A truck or all wheel drive vehicle would be best. If you want land, wildlife, peace and quite this home is for you. Just minutes to down town Helen and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location
We had an excellent trip. So close to Helen and Clarksville is a cute town with places to eat and shop, as well. We would definitely go back. The drive was a bit steep and bumpy, but we were able to make it!

Mountaintop Paradise
Our stay was truly a "Mountaintop Paradise." The house is designed for the mountaintop and is well maintained. It invites you in to enjoy the mountaintop. Just sitting on the deck or the front porch was worth the trip. The views are breathtaking and the woods are invigorating. All 10 of his (ranging in ages from 11 to 70) enjoyed the stay very much.

Beautiful Property, Terrible Driveway
The driveway is horrendous!! It is about a mile long dirt one lane drive (small section paved) with large holes and portions washed away from rain. Lots of steep parts with gravel that made for slipping on the steep part, especially cars. Drive was one-way, so if you got stuck you would have to back out for a long way. Steep on both sides and dangerous if you slid off the road. The property itself was outstanding. The only issues we had were the pool and the driveway. The pool was not cleaned when we arrived and the pool guy came when the kids were swimming and had to get out. We scooped all the leaves when we arrived from the pool.

We are the Gizzi’s! We live in amazing Georgia. We love to travel and experience other places. We have two beautiful kids, they love the outdoors and also experiencing new places with us. We both are hard workers and maintain full time jobs, so getting away once in a while is much needed:)

Why they chose this property

People may think we are far from Helen when in fact we are closer to Downtown Helen then Downtown Clarkesville, which are both great little towns. But the best thing is that this property id up a mountain and sits 1700 ft. above sea level. So talk about getting away, you can be outside having the music playing and kids yelling and playing without disturbing anyone. You can take a 10 minute trip to Helen and be back away from the busyness relaxing and walking the property. There are apple trees, grapes, small peach tree, and many other awesome plants to explore.
