Lake Douglas Stay
It was a perfect spot for a family get together. The kitchen is well-appointed and the layout was great.

Cute but not exactly what was shown
First of all, when you are going to the place the directions will tell you to turn on Timberlake Rd......DO NOT TURN!!!! Just stay straight on the main road and it will go around a curve, the community entrance is right after that curve. Also, I don't know if it is an odd occurrence or not but there was no lake at all when we went. I mean, we walked all the way out to this little tiny stream that was in the back and you could tell there used to be a lake, but it was gone while we were there. Those were really the two main issues we had. Other than that the house is adorable, nice a close to everything without being in the middle of the crowds and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Would stay again, but....
The property is lovely. We all got the impression that maybe the floors had been skipped in the cleaning process. but it wasn't horrible. We got a chuckle when we saw the lake was down. Kinda takes away from the view, but we totally understand. The community was beautiful!! Overall it was a great stay.

No Lake Not Kid Friendly
The inside of the cabin was nice, but the outside was not what was advertised. There is no lake, its dried up and right near the driveway is a big drop off with no fence. The stairs to the dried up lake, are extremely steep. Not kid friendly outside. There is no yard for the kids. I specifically asked about fishing, and they never let us know the lake was dried up. It looks like its been drained for some reason, but there is no lake. Extremely disappointed in the exterior of the property. We specifically picked this place because of the lake

WHERE DID THE LAKE GO?
After following the step by step directions given we ended up at a construction site. One we actually found the rental, we found NO LAKE , it was dried up. We choose the rental for the water as the kids love playing in water and kayaking. Game room had games that did not work. Stove handle was broken. Beds are hard. Definitely an over all disappointment.
