Come + enjoy!

+ LIVING / DINING +

The main living area of this condo is bright and airy with lofty ceilings, natural light, and an open floor plan redone with luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. Complete with a wood-burning fireplace, there is no better place to relax after a day on the mountain. Bring your logins and choose your favorite shows or movies to watch from the popular streaming apps on the brand new 55” SmartTV. The stylish oak high top dining table seats 4, with additional bar stool seating at the counter. Flip open the lid of the coffee table bench to find a plethora of games, puzzles, maps, books, mountain maps + more. Two USB charging ports can be found in the outlet near the dining table.

+ KITCHEN +

Prepare your favorite dishes and home-cooked meals in the remodeled + well-appointed kitchen stocked with small appliances, coffee, spices, storage containers + cleaning supplies. You will also find all the following kitchen necessities to get you started [and usually enough to get you through your trip]: sponge, dish soap + dishwasher pods + extra trash bags, paper towels + kitchen dish towels. Two USB charging ports can be found in the outlet next to the coffee machine.

+ UPPER LOFT +

Guests rave about the relaxing upper loft bedroom and en suite bathroom. Retreat to this space and enjoy an excellent night’s sleep in the king-sized bed with high-quality linens and pillows. Each nightstand has a reading lamp with two USB charging ports. The large closet is stocked with plenty of hangers, a dresser, luggage rack, and a laundry basket. Get ready for the day in front of the extra-wide, full-length mirror. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels, full-sized toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash + body lotion), and a hair dryer.

+ BUNKROOM +

Your kids will love the cozy bunk nook. Both twin beds are furnished with comfortable memory foam mattresses + high quality linens and pillow. Please note the 150lb weight limit for the top bunk. Two USB charging ports can be found in the electrical outlets by the foot of the bed, in addition to a small toy box [for ages 3+], and wall storage baskets and hooks [please keep the weight light]. Across from the bunk room, you will have access to the second bathroom, which is also fully-stocked with plenty of towels and full-sized toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash + body lotion), and a first-aid kit.

+ HALL CLOSET +

The front hall closet is fully stocked with plenty of hangers, iron + ironing board, broom + vacuum, a step stool, clothes drying rack, boot trays, umbrella, cloth/reusable shopping bags, and a portable fan. You will also find the “Fido” bin which is filled with useful accessories for your furry best friend.

+ OUTDOOR PATIO +

In the summer, step out onto your balcony to watch the birds and take in the peaceful aspen and mountain views. Please note that this is a seasonal small space and is only suitable for two people. We do not recommend allowing young children on the patio and please do not lean on the railing.

+ CLUBHOUSE +

Make sure to pack your swim suits and check out the year-round indoor pool and hot tub! Additionally, there is a dry sauna, and a games room featuring a pool table, ping pong table and foosball. Should you need to do any laundry, there is also a coin laundry in the clubhouse. Please note that there is a $100 replacement fee for losing the clubhouse key.

+ PARKING +

There is indoor parking available for one vehicle per stay on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any additional vehicles may park in the outdoor parking lot.

Other things to note:

+ Brian Head is a small town without a major grocery store. The two general stores on the mountain are usually well-stocked with grocery basics, but we recommend bringing your own food or stopping in Cedar City or Parowan for groceries.

+ Vehicles must be less than 6’10” to park in the building garage.

+ The Den is located on the 3rd floor of the building. There is no elevator, so pack efficiently. Take breaks as needed as the high elevation can wind you.

+ The hot water tank is suitable for our unit to take average-length showers [our family of 4 has never had an issue of running out of hot water]. Please make sure to run the dishwasher when you’re not planning on showering to conserve hot water. + Make sure you are well hydrated before going up the mountain. Altitude sickness is common and this can help reduce your risk. Some guests recommend stopping in Cedar City or Parowan for a few hours to acclimate to the elevation before going up the mountain. The cupboard above the microwave is usually stocked with electrolyte tablets, but you can also purchase canned oxygen or canned peaches at the local store to help you combat it. Coconut water can also help. But above all else, if in doubt of your health, seek medical attention.

+ 4WD/AWD, snow tires and/or chains may be required. Check the Utah Department of Transportation website for current conditions and regulations.

+ Daytime temps in the summer months are usually in the 70s so we do not have AC. There are two portable fans - usually found in the downstairs hall closet, two ceiling fans, and the patio door + main window can be opened for airflow.

Fun Family Snow Trip
We had a wonderful time staying at The Den! It was my husband and I with our two young children (ages 3 and 7 months). It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. There were toys for the kids, a pack ‘n’ play and a gate for the stairs, which were all great things to have with young children. The space was clean with fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the proximity to the ski resort, as well as being close to the road and easy to find. The clubhouse amenities with the pool and hot tub were also fantastic. This is the perfect place for your mountain getaway. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Brian Head Winter Wonderland
Loved this place. Nicely decorated and fully furnished. Great location close to Navajo chair lift. Parking is sheltered from the weather. Shannon is the best host, I asked many questions and she was always quick to response and always with a positive attitude. Will stay again.

Great place for someone with no luggage
The condo was very cute and well decorated. It had every amenity someone traveling would ever need. The host was great about communicating and helped me with anything I needed. However, this condo is up several flights of stairs and the building has no elevator. Again it would be perfect for someone with only one or two bags. However our family of four, traveling for 2 weeks from Ca-S.D. And back with a crazy amount of luggage and coolers and food bins didn’t like going up and down so many steps esp when it’s already hard to breathe with the altitude. One or two bags and less people in the room and it would have been great because it was close to everything and had a great view off the balcony.

Hi! I’m a Canadian ex-pat, now living in San Diego, CA with my husband and children. We are a fire family and we are excited to share our vacation condo with you!

Why they chose this property

Our family adores the beautiful area and chill vibe of Brian Head. We stayed at another vacation rental in the same condo complex and our kids fell in love with the pool + hot tub.

What makes this property unique

The Den has been updated to reflect modern mountain styles and uses high-quality furnishing/linens. Our #1 goal is to provide you with a top-notch and comfortable vacation [as we expect when we visit vacation rentals].
