The Firefly is located in heart of Dawson, Texas only a short drive to beautiful natural landscapes of country fields, small businesses, and five minute drive to the Navarro Mills Lake. You will enjoy the rural charm of a small town off the main road that will take you straight into Waco if you go West 40 minutes or Corsicana if you go East 30 minutes. The Firefly is 1.15 hours away from Dallas, Texas. The internet is 500/500. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot, we welcome you to the Firefly.

Gracious hosts, quaint cottage
We had a bathroom mishap that eventually led to a plumber being called. Cody was very responsive and went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. We were very impressed with the quick responses. The cottage itself was very cute and the attention to detail was very appreciated.

A great little place to get away from the big city. Definitely a quiet town and a good place to spend a few nights when in or around the area. We spent most of the day in Waco- only a 30 minute drive, and love that we didn’t have to sleep in the city. Perfectly peaceful.

Came for my 50th reunion for homecoming. Enjoy sitting on the front porch with my hot tea for the evening in the morning. Very nice stay!

This sweet home we have named the Firefly as it reminds me of the fun getaways my Grandmother use to take my sister and I on as we chased fireflies in the evening. This home has a private driveway only used by the Firefly guest(s).
