I feel conflicted leaving some negative feedback but i felt i needed to. The most egregious issue was the pornography comics in the living room. Glad we intercepted thst before our 4 kids did. Also there were only 2 bath towels despite the advervisemnent for 6 people. There were dead bug carcasses everywhere and dead and crumbling flowers on the main table suggesting not a very good cleaning job. Lastly, understand a 4x4 and chains are needed for the car but the ice rink in front of the front door is likely a lawsuit waiting to happen. Otherwise its a beautiful and very unique cabin, its just not maintained well enough

Great, cozy holiday!
We loved staying in the Newfane home! I was a bit worried at 1st from reading the reviews but it was great. The house was nice and cozy. The sauna and steam tub were AMAZING. We really enjoyed the quiet and we were so close to such great restaurants. We would love to come back!

Great stay
Great place for a trip to Stratton/Mt. Snow with a few friends! Definitely a cool space with a lot of character. Smaller second and third bedrooms (full beds) and lower water pressure but to be expected with a remote cottage for a ski weekend.

Cute house
Very cute house perfect for 3 couples to share! We loved the screened in porch and the spacious living room. There were some minor problems with the house but nothing major. As others have said the water pressure is very low (water went out in the shower after flushing a toilet). The kitchen did not have basic items stocked such as oil/butter so keep that in mind. Otherwise the house was perfect for a weekend getaway!
