Our home is newly decorated with fresh paint, furniture, beds, linens, dishes, cookware and more. We have a new cargo lift to help get all of your gear upstairs.

Enjoy fantastic long range views over layers of mountains covering four states. Located on a wooded half acre lot high in the mountains at 4,850’ elevation provides the peace and quiet needed for a relaxing vacation. We are on the quiet side of the mountain and have plenty of parking. There are vacant wooded lots around our home so it feels secluded but just a short drive to Fred’s General Store, Beech Ski Resort and several restaurants.

We have all new sofas by Lazy Boy and all new mattresses by Sealy Posturpedic. The king bed has an adjustable frame for added comfort. Both guest rooms have queen beds. There are also two twin portable beds with new 4” foam mattresses.

For the little ones, we have a portable playpen/crib with bassinet and changing table. We have put outlet protectors in all low level outlets. We have a portable high chair/booster seat, baby gate for the stairs and toddler rails for the bed. There’s also table safety bumpers, child cups, plates and utensils.

We have five 4K smart Roku TV’s with cable - one in each bedroom and one in each of the 2 living rooms. These TV’s have one remote control, are very easy to operate and allow you to access to many channels. There is one gig of WiFi to support streaming on all of your devices. All rooms have ceiling fans.

The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, dishes, cookware and utensils to create delicious meals at the home. We have a crock pot and a coffee machine that is both a drip maker and holds pods.

Deer are abundant in the area and come to visit frequently. There is a well traveled deer trail directly off our back porch. Our mountain is a no hunting area so you will not hear gunshots during your relaxing vacation. We also have bears, chipmunks, racoons and lots of birds.

The 600 SF game room has many favorites such as ping pong, darts, skee ball, basketball and a Ms. PAC Man video game machine with other classic games in the same console. The home also has plenty of board games and puzzles.

Some of the small details we do for our guests is to have an extensive FAQ binder answering all of your questions about the house, grocery stores, places to eat and things to do. We are available by text or phone during most waking hours. We have labeled all of the light switches for your convenience. The home is stocked with 16 complete place settings so you won’t need to continuously wash dishes and silverware.

We have a land phone line to give you the ability to makes calls when you have no cell service which can be spotty in the mountains.

Our home is located just 1.5 miles from the ski slopes and the golf course. We have a transferable Club Sports membership ($300 transfer fee paid directly to the club). This gives you access to tennis, pickleball, the gym, pool and golf (additional green fees). An application must be submitted three days in advance of your use. There are many of activities for year around fun in the area with waterfalls, hiking trails, roller coaster, horseback riding, gem mining, caverns and Grandfather Mountain.

4WD or AWD are required during snow. There are warning lights at the bottom of the mountain if the roads are too icy and adjacent snow chain shops.
