Sparse but Comfortable
This unit was spacious and comfortable for our group. The location was fine for us as we drove or used uber mainly. It wasn't particularly convenient to a metro station. The parking space was very helpful, though I did have trouble the first night getting my minivan parked. The neighbors thankfully gave me a slightly wider berth after that. The couch in the living room was comfortable enough that one teenager decided to sleep there instead of a bedroom, but it is really the only piece of "sitting room" furniture in the house, so if you have a larger group, you may have to use floor space or the not particularly comfortable dining room chairs. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable. Amenities were sparse - no soap holder or shelf in the master shower, bare minimum of cooking utensils/pots/containers, only one pod for dishwashing left, etc,, but it was adequate. There was a lot of light, which was great during the day, not as great at night/early morning. No blackout shades, so if you're light sensitive, be prepared. We really enjoyed all the space, were comfortable, the communication was simple, and would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful Home
Very lovely location, directions were on par, parking was perfect and the home was beautiful. It was a party of four, my parents didn't do stairs well so they stayed on the living room area bedroom which was sufficient because it had a full bathroom for them. Same for all the rooms. The rooftop was awesome, if I'd stayed longer and with friends we would have relaxed up there a few nights. My only qualm was the water for showering, if you weren't first it was more likely to not get hot. Other than that we enjoyed it and had no problem with getting in and out so we could make it to our locations on time. We had to leave early due to my mothers last minute appointment that was the only wrench in the plan. I would stay there again if it were available.

DC trip
The condo was very nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very nice, and we cooked several meals there. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. The neighborhood was a little sketchy (wouldn’t walk around at night) but so is most of DC. Overall, we had a great trip

Great apartment
The apartment over two floors is very modern, spacious, clean and well equipped. Especially the bathroom in the master bedroom is amazing. A little out of the way in an upcoming neighbourhood it at least has a shop and bus stop on the doorstep and an Uber to the H street restaurants is quick and easy if the walk is a bit too long. Overall a great place to stay in DC.

Great location and awesome rooftop deck
We enjoyed H Street and surrounding areas. The house was very clean and super cute. The only downside was it was not well stocked with kitchen supplies or towels.

Why they chose this property

An eclectic community nestled near Capitol Hill & Union Market, known for it's locally-owned spots, it's little surprise that the H Street Corridor has been recognized by national publications as a neighborhood in revival.

What to expect?
The lifestyle: An eclectic haven of nightlife and theater. The heart of H Street Corridor is brimming with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and cultural attractions such as the newly revived Atlas Center for Performing Arts, which was originally built in 1939 as a 1,000-seat movie theater. Named a Great American Main Street by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the corridor’s independently owned shops and galleries are quickly being joined by large mixed-use development and refreshing retail.

Unexpected appeal: The return of the streetcar. Streetcar service returned to H Street in 2016, starting at Union Station and running the length of the corridor before turning down onto Benning Road toward the riverfront. It’s a true full circle from its earlier life, when streetcars heralded H Street’s original boom.

The Market: No longer an “emerging” neighborhood. As the corridor has evolved into a sought-after destination for shopping and nightlife, real estate prices have kept apace. Townhouses are the go-to first for buyers in this area. When they can be found, penthouse units in new condo buildings reach well over $1 million.

Community, culture, nightlife and the H Street festival. The annual H Street Festival has become one of the most highly attended celebrations in the city, stretching for 11 blocks with 14 stages and featuring a broad, culturally diverse array of music, fashion, arts, poetry readings, and children’s programs. It’s also one of six DC neighborhoods to host Art All Night, with pop-up galleries staging exhibits from 7pm to 2am. If that’s not enough to keep you awake, H Street is home to many staple live music venues like the Rock & Roll Hotel and Little Miss Whiskeys.
