Superb View
Although you can’t get a better view, the house itself is lacking at this price point. It has been updated some, but improvements are still needed. The stairs from the garage to the main floor are carpeted and are filthy. This is also the first impression because you enter through the garage. All the bedrooms are carpeted & need replaced as well. The master had an odor but improved with fabric disinfectant.
The gas fireplaces were both non-functional, despite the additional energy charge. It is still chilly in SD at night and in the AM, with the coastal climate, and these are needed.
Many of the furnishings are outdated. It would be stretching it to call the decor boho chic! Once again, updated furnishings are expected at this price point.
The mattresses need replaced too. The master had a dip, and you rolled toward the middle. The downstairs mattress was as hard as a rock with absolutely no give.
Although advertised as providing starter toiletries, they were very minimal. There was not hand soap at all sinks. Some of the shampoos were directly from China, & the toilet paper 1 ply. I have seen better at more budget friendly properties.
The management company is good, but you do have to pick up the keys/remotes at a location offsite. They provide good housekeeping services.
I would rent again but not at the same price point.
