Incredible Beach Front Views at Sweet Retreat # 411, Overlooking ocean & beach

Our condo has room for the family. Ocean & beach front views, near everything. Restaurants, shopping, all water sports, golf, hiking/biking, entertainment. Low density beach, white sand, great sunrise & sunsets. This area has just about everything you could ask for to make it a relaxing and enjoyable excursion with family or friends.

At this time our condo will be available for booking after the1st week in Jan 2024. We are doing a much needed complete renewal. Fresh paint throughout, updated décor, lighting & electrical systems, new furnishings inside & out, new window & sliding balcony door. You have seen our old listing. Renovations are complete. Check out the new pictures. We added a queen bed & remote work station. We strive to provide a clean, safe, family friendly environment to create lasting beach getaway memories with family & friends. We'd love to host your group in our freshly refurbished condo.

Rick was a great host and provided answers to questions very quickly. The view on the balcony was awesome. The location was great and there was never any issues with crowding on the beach. We used the kitchen a few times during our stay and everything worked as expected. There were two items that needed improvement. One, the patio door is very difficult to open and two, the cleaning crew did not appear to clean the showers were well. Over all it was a good experinece.

Wonderful condo!
6 of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend girl/mom trip and had a blast. The room had plenty of sleeping space for all of us and most importantly 3 full bathrooms! We were very comfortable and give the communication 5 stars also- very easy check in process. The owner left NICE beach chairs in the room and an umbrella so we did not have to pack one. The fact that the condo was smaller is a plus the walk was not long to the parking lot and the elevator is very close to the room.

Great Communication and Great Condo
We booked Sweet Retreats for a weekend getaway with family. I had ended up with my family of five and my cousins family of three, which two kids were 3 year olds. Needless to say, we asked for an early check-in because of this and Rick was so understanding and communicated almost immediately to my messages while also telling me every step of the way about when the cleaning crew started and finished so that we could check-in as soon as possible. As a mom, this was a huge lifesaver!! The condo was the perfect size because myself, my husband, and our 3 year old slept in one king bed, my cousin, his wife and their 3 year old in the other king bed, and then my other two kids got a room to themselves and a bed to themselves! For me, another huge bonus was the fact that each room has its own full bath!! Such a time saver! The location is great. The fact that there was an indoor and outdoor pool to cool off on when everyone got too hot was a major plus also! We are already booking our next trip to this condo for next summer! If I had to say anything “negative” even though it wasn’t really a big deal for us because we weren’t in the condo that much, was that the couch and loveseat aren’t very comfortable. But again, not a deal breaker for us at all! Thanks Rick and Shelly for a great place to stay while we soaked up the sun!

Shelly & I are recently retired. Shelly retired from the home construction industry, and I retired from the industrial maintenance / power generation industry. We've been married over 40 years and have 3 adult children, with 3 grand kids. We are avid open wheel ( Indy Car ) race fans. We currently reside in Lafayette, In. and have called that home since 1985. We are both originally from Iowa and enjoy some traveling and fishing.

Why they chose this property

We have traveled to several beaches. We've been to Hawaii, down the Pacific coast from Washington to Puerto Vallarta, the Atlantic coast of Florida around the Keys, and up and around the Gulf Coast to Cancun Mex. We have also spent some time in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Caribbean. We believe that Orange Beach is equivalent or equal to any of the better beaches we've been to in our travels.

What makes this property unique

Friends & family have encouraged us to visit Orange Beach in the past. We finally did a couple years ago and fell in love with the Gulf and the white sugar sand beaches of the area. We decided we wanted to be part of this vibrant environment. The area has everything you could ask for. You name it, it's here, shopping, dining, entertainment. No passport required, reasonable prices, within driving distance, and last but not least very friendly local folks that make sure you have a great time.
