Amazing location for a vacation
We were in need of a place to stay for our friends vacation and the Claiborne couldn’t have fit the bill any better. With the classic architecture it’s was very comfortable and a perfect fit. The location is perfect for anyone who is looking to explore the French quarter. We look forward to visiting again. The host was very helpful and accommodating and made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable.

So disappointing.
The noise was intolerable! A main thoroughfare is feet from front door and window. Cars, trucks and motorcycles continually gunning their engines from early to late. While the owner isn't responsible for the noise there are measures that could be taken to ameliorate it. As seniors, the bath tub was dangerous to get in and out of or shower in because the floor of the tub was slippery. There was no safety bar or anything to hold on to. We contacted the host asking for bath mat and the host dismissed our concerns. She told us mats are "unsanitary" and to go out and purchase one...We found that dismissive. In the bedrooms, you have to be at least 6ft. tall to operate the light and fans, or stand on the bed (not a safe option). The night before we left we saw a cockroach. Overall, we were very disappointed.

Very nice home with nostalgic touch
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this venue! It just looks and feels like vintage New Orleans. The photos and description are very accurate. Check-in and check-out was super easy. The host not only accommodates you with all you need for your stay at the venue, but also provides tips on the area and city. Personal touches such as a welcome note, snacks, and a guestbook may not seem like much to some, but it meant a lot to us. There are convenient stores within walking/driving distance, and the proximity to I-10 helped make most sites quickly accessible. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

All the New Orleans Vibes
First off this place is adorable and just the best overall New Orleans experience. Some might feel uncomfortable in the neighborhood, homeless etc. But we never felt unsafe and we were two single girls staying in the home alone! Highly recommend if you want a stay that feesl like you are apart of the city and not just a tourist.
