Needs some TLC
Let me start by saying this house is in a great location to Universal Studios and other sites in Hollywood. It is spacious and did work for my Family of 7 but was not ideal inside! I’m not a picky person but my overall stay was not the best. There are two houses on this property of which I had originally reserved and paid for the back house. Before we left I was asked by ‘Nancy’ if I would mind changing to the front house due to other reservation times. To be flexible, I agreed but maybe this wasn’t a good choice (to be fair, I didn’t see the inside of the back house). First off we got in very late due to freeway closures and the code I was given to open the door didn’t work. We had to call Nancy in which she was able to fix over the phone. The next morning we noticed we only had bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels. I sent Nancy a message and she informed me the prior guests may have taken them and I could buy some and she would reimburse me. We were down there on Vacation and had many activities scheduled. I felt this was not my responsibility and should have been solved for prior to our stay. The floors were dirty, stains on some of the bedding and furniture. The kitchen is lacking dishes for 7 people and the pans were old and rusty. Pictures on the wall were hung with the cardboard packaging still on them which I thought was quite odd. The TV’s didn’t get signal so we weren’t able to use them! Overall, it was a disappointing stay ☹️
