It was great!
We made the trip from Pinckney MI to the Columbus zoo! We enjoyed a beautiful day at the zoo and were so happy to come to a clean, comfy place to stay with a great yard to relax in! Everyone had a great nites sleep and we were back on the road to the Groovy Plant Ranch! Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful
We were in town for 3 days/2 nights for an early evening wedding and had 13 family members over for lunch that day. Everything was perfect for the outside gathering -- including the weather! Perfect and so much fun.

Amazing place!
The house was well-maintained, beautifully boho-style decorated, and an amazing place to stay. The backyard is what initially sold me on booking this location- it is absolutely stunning. While there were only 2 of us, this would also be a great for a group of people to enjoy! So much room! The kitchen was amazing and had everything we could need to use. The owner was prompt with all questions I had and was very thorough in responses and instructions on how to get in/work everything like the lights, etc. She even reached out first when she heard the power may be out in the neighborhood after a bad storm to check in to make sure we were ok (we were!). Easy access to downtown and airport which was key for us. Even walkable to great food, and safe to do so. Highly recommend!

Nice Enough Place in Columbus, Not Bexley
This house is pretty nice. For the house itself, I'd give it 4 stars. There were a few small maintenance issues that made it less nice but weren't a big deal (bathroom fan not working, smoke detector beeping, and a few others). The hosts have decorated it nicely and the backyard patio space is really nice. The total 3-star review instead of 4 is due to feeling that the location marketing was (at the time of this booking) a bit deceptive. The property title is "Boho Bexley Bungalow" and it's described as being in a "Bexley Area Neighborhood". The house is in Columbus 3 blocks outside of Bexley. I was under the impression it was in Bexley when I booked. It's only 3 blocks but if you know the area, it's like Manhatten vs Jersey.

I am a Columbus native who loves to travel and explore places that are beautiful, whether it be to relax & unwind or go on adventures. I am an active local community expert and volunteer, and I absolutely love plants, gardening, and animals (can I pet your dog?). I love new experiences, yummy food, interesting cocktails, and am always up for ice cream or donuts. I try to live life by a few principles, one of which is: Life is short, so make it beautiful! It is with this in mind that I made my (former) home a beautiful happy place I hope to share with others to make memories.

Why they chose this property

As a Columbus native, I love walkability and history in older homes and neighborhoods. A few blocks from Bexley's thriving Main street area with restaurants, craft beer and wine, a historical movie theatre, coffee, butcher and more, still centrally located to make it an easy drive to almost anywhere, close to the airport, amazing shopping at Easton, and so many beautiful Metro Parks a short drive away. I love this community and have volunteered with Bexley organizations, local Columbus civic groups, the Mid-East Area Commission and more. There's so many fun festivals and farmers markets through the warmer seasons. You'll find the best neighbors here too!

What makes this property unique

It is definitely not all white and greige. This home is cozy, has life and color! It is older with some charm, but that is part of why I made it my home. We redid the entire landscape to add native flowers and plants, trees and shrubs, and added oversized planters to the back to fill with fun tropicals in the summer. I can cozy up with a book or my work laptop on the patio by the custom propane outdoor firepit, or under the gazebo and listen to rain on the metal roof. I wanted to make outdoor living just as important as indoor. I also love to cook so I think this kitchen will please those who also enjoy the culinary side with the Viking range. Have specific culinary or other needs in mind? just ask! We can help ensure everything you need it available and ready for your stay before you even arrive.
