We are a Wisconsin family that loves the Baraboo area and everything it offers year-round. We're avid downhill and cross-country skiiers, rock climbers, hikers, kayakers, swimmers, and cyclists. In late winter, our family taps and boils maple sap to make delicious maple syrup. Year-round, we love to sit outside around the fire, tell stories and enjoy each other's company. And when we aren't enjoying those activities in Baraboo, we like to camp or travel the world. We love sharing the beauty of the Baraboo Range with our friends and family. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Our house is perched at the end of a long-driveway up a hill, surrounded by forest and with a view of a hilly ridge across the road. Every season is beautiful. Fall foliage is amazing, giving a golden glow throughout the house. We cherish curling up on the loveseat in front of the large picture window in the living room with a cup of coffee and watching the forest wake up or the sun set. In early spring the peepers (toads) sing loudly from the pond. And spring through fall the sandhill cranes fly overhead to their nesting spot across the road. And when we want to "get away" from the forest, we're a quick 10 minute drive from the beautiful town of Baraboo, hometown of the Ringling Brothers circus and renowned for its Circus World Museum...plus great restaurants, coffee shops, and local shops. Families and adults young-at-heart the Wisconsin Dells for their world famous water parks, go-karts, and theme parks.

What makes this property unique

Location, privacy, solitude, wildlife. This is a true Wisconsin vacation!
