About this property

Bermuda Sunset! Upscale with Private Beach!

This spectacular new construction home boasts four bedrooms and four and a half baths and sleeps eight to ten guests. This upscale oasis is situated on its own private beach on the serene Santa Rosa Sound in Navarre Beach. Bermuda Sunset is located within the quiet gated community of Caribbean Isle with amenities such as a community pool and tennis court.

Bermuda Sunset is tastefully furnished with coastal flair and high end finishes and appliances. Each bedroom has its own designated full bath and smart TV. On the main living floor (located on the 2nd floor), a queen suite sleeps two with views of the Sound and surrounding neighborhood. The open concept, fully appointed kitchen, living, and dining area features sweeping views of the Sound that open to an outdoor patio with plenty of seating for guests. The dining area is surrounded on three sides by large windows that overlook the water, which let in an abundance of natural light. You can enjoy delicious meals and take in the relaxing views, and there is an oversized island with additional seating. The front balcony off the main living area offers seating for four with great views of the sunset and the beautiful Caribbean Isle neighborhood.

The third floor includes three bedrooms each with full baths. The primary suite has a king size bed and its own private balcony with rocking chairs and a hammock for relaxing. The primary closet is a walk-in with plenty of storage. The en suite bath is a spa-like retreat that includes a large rain shower and separate soaking tub. The second bedroom is a king suite which sleeps two. The third bedroom is a bunk room that can sleep up to four. All of the bedrooms on the third level have beautiful views of the water and neighborhood. Bermuda Sunset also offers a convenient laundry area on this level containing a washer and dryer.

The garage is equipped with three kayaks and safety vests. There is also a propane grill for grilling on the outdoor patio only steps away from the sand, as well as a small beverage fridge so you don’t even have to walk up the stairs for your cold juice box or beer. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the ground level so you can enjoy the views. There is also a half bath located in the garage, as well as an outdoor shower.

To top off your vacation experience, enjoy sitting at the end of your own private pier that stretches 200 feet into the Sound for fishing, spending time with family, watching the dolphins and pelicans, or simply taking in the beautiful Navarre sunsets. Make sure to bring your fishing poles and tackle box. The Santa Rosa Sound is perfect for wading, swimming, and kayaking. Unlike the Gulf of Mexico, the Sound is a much calmer body of water with no undertow for family fun! And the emerald green waters of the Gulf are just a short five to ten minute walk. If you prefer to drive, there are public beach access parking lots very close to the Caribbean Isle subdivision.

You will find lots of fun activities nearby when you are ready for a break from the beach. Treat the kids to ice cream and snowballs close by. Visit the Gulf Breeze Zoo, the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, the longest fishing pier in Florida, the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, or spend time at the splash pad or the inflatable playground right across the bridge.

Because this home is located in a private community with permanent residents, all guests must be respectful of the neighbors and are required to follow all rules of the community, including parking, noise, trash, pool use, etc.
Bermuda Sunset has parking for four vehicles in the driveway - parking on the street is not allowed per community rules. There is no parking in the garage.

Per strict community rules, No Boats, No Trailers, or RV parking on the property. Additionally, tying up boats, jet skis or any other watercraft to the pier is strictly prohibited.

Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund.

Beautiful Location
This is a beautiful location, but there was issues. First when we arrived the trash cans were completely full and the smell was horrible. You could smell the odor from the house. We called the property managers and was told the trash would be picked up on Saturday. We arrived on Tuesday. The A/C could only be turned down to 72. It was hot. The hot water was another issue. If you enjoy cold showers? The biggest issue was, they did a home inspection for their home owners insurance on a Saturday. WTH? This was A family vacation and we had to wait around on our Saturday for them to do this. We ended up missing our breakfast reservations, and had to take our daughter to the airport because of this. To say the least we were not happy. I think this property is poorly managed. It’s a shame we paid that kind of money and couldn’t fully enjoy our vacation

Beautiful Views, Perfect Neighborhood, but with House issues and Management woes
This is the second time we have stayed in this neighborhood in back to back years. The views, privacy, and location could not be matched. Of course, these amenities come with a price. However, this time we left feeling we didn’t get the same value we did a a different home last year. Scenic Stays is the management company that runs the property for the owners. We have had to deal with them in the past. Their text and app services are very quick to inform you when to check in, what codes you’ll need, and when you need to checkout. If you need something, do not use the text or app. It’s useless. Call them. And if they need an answer from the owner, forget it. We arrived on 7/5 from a 9 hour drive about an hour early from checkin. After sending a message requesting a early checkin with no response, we we tested our luck and were able to gain access. The fridge was broken, we had to bring the one they dropped off upstairs into the kitchen (that was fun) because they were just going to leave it in the garage…how convenient. You can’t turn the air down below 72. The house had several unfinished areas and some lighting appliances missing. No golf cart key. I don’t think they’re quite ready to host. We made it a great time, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It was just a little disappointing for that kind of money.

Beautiful home but outside yard needs attention.
We were not given a gate code for arrival. Had to call the “emergency” after hours line and it took 35 minutes on the phone for her to get the code. Upon arrival there was no option for us to control the temperature of the house. The thermostat is digital and stayed black, like it wouldn’t come on. I let them know I didn’t know if it was working or not because there was no way for me to tell. The first night it wasn’t miserably hot but towards the morning it got pretty warm. I let them know that it didn’t seem to be on or was set pretty high. Someone came out to look at it and determined it needed to be reset. Not sure what that meant but it required them leaving and coming back to fix the issue. When she returned she said she had fixed it and she set it on 70. We thought that was fine. However it never got down to 70, the thermostat constantly read 72 and when we tried to lower it to 70 for us to go to bed it would go right back to 72. It was programmed so that we couldn’t change it. Not given the code for the private dock. Had to call and the operator said it was not available for use by renters. I had to explain to her that the listing specified there was a private dock that reached 200ft out for use. She then figured out the code. Back yard is sand which is great. The main issue with this property is that it’s if FULL of nails and other sharp debris. You must wear shoes when walking in the yard. There is a warning sign in the yard letting you know shoes need to be worn
