Stay in a historic house built in the late 1790's.
A Beautifully remodeled apartment, on the second floor, with a modern kitchen, dining room, large living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to make a simple dinner, to a large supper. We are located close to Historic: York, Gettysburg, Hanover, Harrisburg, and Baltimore, MD.

East Berlin VRBO
I was very happy with this VRBO. I stayed there for a month while working at the Battlefields rather than a hotel room and it was nice having all the open space. It is a short drive to Gettysburg and there is plenty of room for a family to stay. The hosts are great people!

Party for my Dad's 87th birthday
The apartment is clean and cozy. We were a little surprised that the bathroom was in the bedroom my father was sleeping in, but, it worked out. It is my mistake that I didn't see that it was an upstairs apartment so they were a challenge but we conquered them. It' in a quiet little town and not that far to Gettysburg.

Family Reunion
We had a fun visit to the area to see relatives. We were pleased with the unit. I'm glad that Lori told me about the history of the house dating back to the 1790's. Some people may not like using the steep stairs to this upstairs unit, though.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was quiet, and we were able to relax after visiting the Gettysburg Re-enactment. On the one occasion prior to our trip when I needed to contact the host, we received a reply right away. Plenty of towels, etc. were provided, and the kitchen was supplied with all the dishes, cookware, silverware, etc., that we needed. However, there was white dog hair on the living room rug, and the carpet runners were dirty. I vacuumed the rugs myself because I couldn't stand the dog hair and dirt on the runners. The kitchen floor had dirty spots that needed to be mopped, so I mopped those spots myself. Also, there were crumbs on the table in the dining room. I guess the only complaint that we had was that it needed a good cleaning.
