It was ok
The house was very close to the beach, had a nice screened in porch, and was relatively inexpensive. That is what drew us in. In that respect it was pretty much as expected. However, the cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. The first night we went to cook dinner and several cockroaches crawled out from behind the stove. I brought this up to the owner and she said that because it's Florida they are difficult to avoid. I have been staying in vacation homes in Florida since I was a child and have never had an issue with roaches before. That being said, she did say she would have someone come and spray and offered us another property of hers. We decided it would be too much trouble to move for just a few more days of our stay, so we decided to stay. We had several more cockroach interactions, including one crawling over my foot while I was cooking (they do seem to be living behind the stove), and in the bathroom there were dead bug carcasses as well as several used razors all over the place. The place was small, which was fine, and very very sparsely equipped. We found that there were a lot of kitchen tools that were either not available or were broken. The stove is also very old and takes a really long time to cook anything. If all you are looking for is a cheap place to stay near the beach that you just use to crash at night, this place is fine. I do think the property needs to be updated and deep cleaned, esp behind the stove.

Nothing fancy but just what you need
Cuter in person than the pictures , plenty of space in common areas and bedrooms. . The bathroom is narrow in parts so could be tight for some but was ok for us..we didnt use the laundry or stove but was nice to have. Nothing fancy but clean. Super easy check in and good communication. Straight shot to the beach . Outside shower was a plus. . Bring extra towels .
