Bright, open floor-plan, and stone gas fireplace create an inviting and cozy space for gathering with family and friends. *Brand new* appliances in gourmet kitchen with all the essentials, including both Keurig and drip coffee-maker. Large dining table with seating for six. Master suite on main floor with king-size bed, TV, and bathroom with dual-head shower (handicap accessible). Second suite upstairs with queen-size bed, TV, and bathroom with shower and bathtub. Comfortable mattresses with new, high quality sheets. Luxury towels and toiletries provided. Loft with daybed and trundle to accommodate extra guests and/or to serve as a great reading nook or a special place to escape for a nap. Lower level with billiards table and cornhole boards for some family fun. French doors open onto two covered porches for wildlife-viewing and watching the sun set. Gas grill, main-floor laundry and WIFI. Easy, pull-through parking to accommodate two vehicles (trailers would be a challenge). Enjoy the security and amenities of Laurel Valley, including golf at Wild Laurel. Close to Townsend shops and restaurants, including the award-winning Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum and Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Laurel Valley Golf Course and Shadows of the Past Hiking/Biking Trail. Tube Junction and River Rage Go-Kart Track are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Great Vacation
My wife and I stayed April 25th-30th. We were very happy with the property. Cabin was very clean and had all amenities we needed. The kitchen is very well stocked to handle both small and larger groups. The bed was very comfortable and we slept as well or better then we do at home which was a bonus. The TV's and internet worked great with easy to follow instructions for remotes, you don't always see that in rentals. Internet had very good speed with no lapses. Jo was great to work with, answered questions quickly and efficiently. We have stayed at many cabins in the area over the last 15 years and this one gets high marks! We will stay here again.

We stayed in this cabin for three nights. It was perfect for us! The cabin was immaculately clean. Absolutely everything you could ask for was supplied. Views are beautiful and only a short distance from town. We will definitely book again.

Very cozy and quaint. Well taken care of. Very clean. Can tell the pride the owner takes in the cabin. Loved the porches. Got to spend a lot of time on them watching the storms we had while there…so peaceful. Had wonderful amenities, new kitchen, great decor

Peaceful place up in the mountains
The cabin is up on a mountain(driving on this road during icy conditions would be impossible) in a gated community, but the instructions to get in after hours is clear. There are ramps leading in to the main floor of the cabin, and a step in shower in the main bathroom, which was a boon for my elderly parents(which is why we picked the cabin in the first place). Cabin was clean, and well appointed; all the TVs are the "smart" variety, so even though there's no cable or satellite, if you have apps on your phone or tablet(like Disney or Discovery), you can "cast" them on to the TV, which is what we did. My parents really liked the back porch; although the leaves have blocked most of the mountain view, it was very peaceful and quiet. Nice place! Highly recommend!
