About this property

Relaxing, comfortable home in Keaton Beach

Keenan’s at Keaton Beach offers a comfortable, relaxing living while away from home. It’s the perfect place to enjoy spending time with family and friends! The living room boasts a sofa, oversized chair w/ottoman, and a large TV. Wifi is available. We do have a desk and a computer chair if needed. A full kitchen and dining room table makes mealtime easy and gives an opportunity to dine as a family. No worries, coffee is always provided! On the front porch there is a gas grill and comfortable seating available for use. Keenan’s at Keaton Beach is also pet friendly! The master bedroom includes a king size bed, a full bathroom, closet area, and dresser space. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with brand new twin- and full-size mattresses (closet space is also provided). There is also a second full bathroom. The neighborhood offers plenty of dirt road space for riding ATVs as well. The spacious yard offers plenty of remote parking for RV’s, cars, and boats. Keaton Beach is only a 10-minute drive away. The boat ramp is a 5-mile drive and offers easy access to Keaton Beach and crystal-clear waters with year-round sports. Keaton Beach is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or days of relaxation and fishing..

A fisherman's paradise. Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Spanish Mackerel and Snook can be found. Taylor county shorelines consist of some of the best and underfished waters on the Gulf of Mexico. It's shallow-water, grassy flats at their best. Head offshore for deeper waters and you'll find Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia. Fly Fishing, plug casting or "flinging" baits, the fish are plentiful. Excellent scalloping both north and south. Book Keenan's early to ensure a great accommodation close by where all the scalloping action is taking place. Taylor County is also home to deer, turkey, waterfowl/duck, wild hog, and quail. There is always a hunting season and a reason to visit. When you aren’t enjoying fishing or relaxing in the sun, you can enjoy a hike or bike ride at Gulf State Park. This park also offers a playground and splash pad. Hagens Cove Park offers picnic pavilions, hiking trails, and an observation tower for viewing the surrounding area. Keaton beach is also 20 minutes from Iron Horse Mud Ranch. Book Keenan's year-round.

Keep in mind that because Keaton Beach is remote there is limited access to restaurants in our area. Grocery stores and restaurants are plentiful in Perry, about a 30-minute drive.

Keenan's is a result of my dad's hard work, dedication, and love of all things outdoors, especially fishing. He only got to enjoy his home for 1.5 years before he passed away and it is my dream to keep his memory alive by sharing his home with you. He chose Keaton Beach to make his home because of his love for fishing. Keaton Beach is a fisherman's paradise. I hope you enjoy your stay and have time for family, relaxing, and most importantly, fishing.

Why they chose this property

Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida you’ll find Keenan’s at Keaton Beach. Keaton Beach is one of Florida’s most natural and undeveloped coastlines and is known for its fishing, boating, and scalloping. There are also opportunities for bird watching, crabbing, kayaking, deep sea fishing or a guided tour of the Gulf of Mexico. Keaton Beach is also home to wildlife such as wild hogs, turkeys, and deer. The beach has shaded picnic pavilions, restrooms, a fishing pier and a public boat ramp.
