My husband and I stayed here for parents’ weekend. The unit is as pictured. In my opinion, It’s a little far from the university if you are going back and forth as we were doing. But if you are going up to Tally and visiting or going to the game, then the location is fine.
My pros and cons:
Pros:
Check-in was super easy.
The host was great at communication.
She left snacks and some water.
The neighborhood is quiet.
The unit is very clean and as pictured.
Cons:
The master bedroom is located in the back of the unit, which is next to the interstate. So you can hear the traffic at night (I’m a light sleeper), and the light from the interstate or somewhere in the backyard shines directly into the bedroom. Even with the blinds closed, it’s a little bright. I tried sleeping in the other bedroom; you can still hear the traffic somewhat. The ceiling fan in that bedroom is quite loud.
Bath towels are very thin and not very big. You should take your own if you can.
Amenities – the amenities state a hair dryer, so I didn’t bring one, and there wasn’t one. The list also stated various bathroom soaps, and there was only one bottle of combination shampoo and conditioner between the 2 bathrooms. So, we ran out to get body wash, and my granddaughter lent us her hair dryer. The problem is easily solved, but if the amenity is listed, then I would expect it to be there.
Overall, the place is fine. I would stay here again if I needed to.
