Right off Main Street. Watch the Ponies run down the street right from the yard during Pony Penning. Enjoy beautiful sunsets after a day on the beach or exploring the Island. Newly updated mobile home. Sitting on a quiet lane, living among the locals, a short walk to the carnival. Shiny and new isn't what you will find here as we continue to make updates. What you will find is a charming coastal style. Well stocked kitchen for cooking when your not enjoying one of the amazing food trucks and restaurants. All new mattresses as well as bed toppers available for extra comfort. Electric fireplace for cool nights. Ice maker, duo coffee maker, Instant pot, 3 window A/C units.(One each in the bedrooms, one in the open living area, none in the bathroom), smart tv's, washer/dryer combo, gas grill, outdoor gazebo with netting, games, beach items and more. Everything you need to enjoy some Island life!

Chincoteague getaway
We enjoyed a very quiet neighborhood and the sites all around. Fantastic food at restaurants close by and a grocery store for all we needed. Comfortable beds and all amenities. Would stay there again.

Reasonable stay but disappointing safety
The house didn't have any smoke detectors as is required by Virginia law. We purchased a basic smoke detector to ensure safety while we slept. We left the smoke detector behind and texted a receipt asking for reimbursement, but we never heard anything back. Other than that, the house was adequate and well-matched with the low price.

Why they chose this property

Our family has been coming to Chincoteague for 23+ years. We dreamed of owning a place. Then an opportunity arose and that dream became reality. It needed lots of work. But it was our piece of the Island. After a year and a half of long hard days and travels back and forth we are ready to share our home. We have many more plans to come. It is a work in progress. But the many updates provide you with that light and beachy feel while enjoying this beautiful island. We love the community, food, nature and especially boating. We hope you enjoy your stay.
