A cozy and inviting Tennessee retreat with a breathtaking view from the upper-level deck overlooking a quaint small marina and Melton Hill Lake. This Oak Ridge home is close to outdoor activities with a convenient location near the Rowing Center, Haw Ridge bike trails, ORNL and Y12, Wind Rock, Knoxville and Oliver Springs. Perfect for a romantic escape for two or a relaxing place if in town for work with free wifi to stay connected. This lakefront unit is perfect for boating, fishing, biking, or rowing vacation. Guest's accommodations include an open layout sleeping area, a queen bed and two twin beds, a small but efficient kitchen, a living area, a bathroom, and a deck overlooking the lake and the Marina. Bring your boat, rent a boat slip for the day, and explore Melton Hill Lake.
The parking area has plenty of room for your boat, ATV, or bike trailer. Return from your busy day for grilling out, watching the sunset, and stargazing. For sleeping arrangements, the Loft has one queen bed and two twin beds. Reserve the Lake View Chalet downstairs to add six more friends or family. Message us for a boat slip.
Guests will have access to the second floor with entry at the top of the stairs from the front porch.
Haw Ridge Park is only 2 miles away with many miles of mountain bike trails. Or, tackle one of the many close walking, hiking, and biking trails in the area or visit a local museum.

Perfect Location / Beautiful Views
We were visiting our son in Oak Ridge and wanted a place close to him and we found this VRBO property. It fit our bill perfectly. It was as described and was nicely furnished and extremely clean. Loved the decorating details that went into this studio loft. The Views from the back deck was amazing. It is literally on the lake and if you want you can rent a poonton and probably bring your own if you inquire ahead of time. I think it's perfect for a couple or a family travelling with younger children with how it's laid out. The full/queen (wasn't sure) was on one wall and the two twin beds were across the way so that is why I think it's great for a couple or a family with younger kids. I wouldn't recommend if you are travelling with adult children unless you also rent the unit below. The towels that were supplied were really soft and ones that I would have in my own home. They also had extras if needed. The bathroom was small which was expected since it was a loft but it was well renovated and they utilized every inch of space to make it comfortable. We will definitely be renting this VRBO on our next visit to Oak Ridge. Looks like they are building additional Units on the property which look like they have beautiful views as well so I will also be looking out to see when those become available. My one suggestion is to make sure you have an alarm on your phone or watch etc. There is no clock in the Loft.

Our vols game getaway stay
We came to enjoy the Vols game and decided to choose Linda’s place. This was a great decision! We enjoyed being near the lake so much and my 3 year old kept saying “Mama this is amazing, awesome..” We would definitely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality Linda! We loved the Lake view loft.

Great stay!!
This was a beautiful property on the lake! We had a great time staying for baseball but we got to go out on a boat fish and swim. We had a really great time. The small decks on the front and back were so nice to sit and have coffee or drinks and watch the lake. There were grocery stores close by and gas stations for needs. Boat ramp is right down the road!! We would definitely stay here again while visiting Knoxville!!! Linda was a great communicator! Really enjoyed everything!!!
