Sub Par Room 306
Photos were never sent for room 306 when requested. Sub par college dorm beds. Not the most comfortable. Room was not clean. Corners dirty. Refrigerator had crumbs on it. Shower head was moldy. AC vent filter was dirty and rusty. The rust is to be expected anywhere near the ocean and so I will cannot rate it. The AC control is old which would have been fine if the thermostat worked. The AC itself blows cold air. The thermostat would not regulate the air. At best, the AC ran all night and we froze. We had to get up; turn AC off and open patio door for a small breeze which meant hearing the noise. This room has potential, it needs a revamp. Positives include the direct view of the ocean, and the location near the tiki bar. This hotel sits within walking distance of several things to do. The towels were nice and soft. The owner responded when I asked about early arrival. She was unable to get us in as early as we needed, but she responded to keep us informed. In its current condition, this room was not worth the price paid. I do not typically give bad reviews, but this room was not displayed properly online.

Poor communication
Upon arriving at the hotel and it was a few hours early for check-in, I still had not heard from the owner about checking in. In all my other experiences, you get the code hours before checking in to when it's time, you have the info. I reached out to the owner, no response. I called the number listed and it was an ex wife who managed the photos, she said she wpuld reach out and have him message me.... no response. About an hour before check-in, I called VRBO customer service and they were able to contact him and he finally sent a code. It was booked for 4 people, the room only had 2 wash cloths and the hotel does not distribute anything since it is privately owned. I had to reach out again and did not receive a reponse but someone did deliver towels and wash cloths around day 3. The room is outdated and need lots of work. The bed frame is too high, so you pillow falls through the space all night long. The bathroom most definitely needs work. I had a friend staying at same place and their room was amazing, however it was the hotel side. The neighbors to us started playing extremely loud music around 3am and lasted until about 7am. The hotel will not do anything about it due to them being private... The air conditioner had to be put below the lowest point to even kick on and it just ran until it was turned off. I honestly don't EVER write bad reviews but this was not a good experience and I have not had this kind of poor communication with an owner.

Loved the location and had stayed there many times in a larger unit. Wanted to downsize.
Refrigerator barely cooled, but freezer worked. Microwave didn't work *4 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 2 washcloths for 2 weeks Needs a bath mat in shower and a holder for soap/shampoo. 2 tiny bars of soap left for 2 weeks 4 rolls of toilet paper left for 2 weeks There is no dead bolt on the door as stated and no way of locking the sliding glass door onto the patio *TV was horrendous. Only allowed streaming, no live, local stations were available. Many of the movies we couldn't watch b/c you needed a pin #. Also should leave a page of instructions on how to use tv. * These items I called about. They were very nice but never followed through and never got resolution to these issues.

Slice of paradise!
Everything you need in one location! Relaxing atmosphere, amazing location (with pool onsite and steps from the beach), restaurants and bars onsite. We ate at the Italian restaurant on site and it was delicious! We also ate at the tiki bar and grille and it was also delicious. Host made our stay easy! Can’t wait to come back!
