Welcome to Hazelnut Hollow. This hidden gem is ideally located 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge attractions and 5 minutes from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Still has the privacy and quiet of the mountains. Relax in the hot tub, or sit around the fire at night, and enjoy the feel of the Smokies. Enjoy modern comfort with a hint of rustic.
The space
We are the storybook home of the Smokies. We are tucked away on the side of a mountain for complete privacy and yet so close to anything you want to go do. If you need to relax, grab a book, and lay on the patio bed swing. When you feel like adventure, you will have a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Smoky Mountain National Park and everything else Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has to offer! 🐾

We are a private home and property, so the hot tub and home is for your use only.
Other things to note
Fully stocked kitchen with full size coffee pot or single use Kcups, and a French press with an electric kettle. We offer plush bedding and plenty of blankets. Also, throw blankets etc to make the stay extra cozy. Shampoo conditioner and body wash dispenser for your convenience. Recently added home water filtration system. For those with handicap accessible needs, there are no stairs to enter the property. There is one main bedroom and bathroom and all living space on the main floor.

Perfect Stay!
It was a quick trip/stay but the cottage is perfect! It comes stocked with everything you need (even box fans for us that need them to sleep haha), very clean and cute as a button! The driveway is definitely tricky but once you get familiar with it, it is fine! Thank you for everything!

There was a musky smell in the master bedroom and the driveway was a little difficult to enter. Overall a great place to stay.

Incredibly Located, Amazingly Secluded!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hazelnut Hollow. We stayed with friends, so there were 6 adults and 2 babies. We had a blast. It’s seriously only 5 minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge and only about 15 min from Gatlinburg. Yet, you feel so secluded back in the mountains, it’s amazing! The place was super clean, even the towels were folded up and presented as animals, nice touch! You can definitely tell that the host pays attention to details to ensure a comfortable stay. One of my issues with rentals, if they have a hot tub, is the cleanliness of it. This place has the cleanest one I’ve seen yet. We really enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. That’s also a nice touch. They have a washer and dryer, although we never used it. Almost every kind of kitchen utensil is provided. The driveway is a little tricky to get into, but only where it meets the road, so just heads up for that. Overall, I will definitely stay again, but next time for more days.

Just an absolute perfect setup. While everyone loves a good mountain views this house doesn’t give you that. Instead you get the most quaint updated interior with a serene front porch swing and a perfect fire pit setup. Book this place. Perfect for a family with kids or two couples looking to get out of the city. Proximity to pigeon forge and whatnot was awesome.
