About this property

A Taste of Southern Comfort

Here is a taste of Southern Comfort in the little quite town of Carlisle, South Carolina. Built in 1917, through passing generations of love, we were able to keep this old house a charm. Located 15 minutes from Union; 30 minutes from Newberry; 40 minutes from Clinton; 45 minutes from Rockhill; 50 minutes from Spartanburg; 35 minutes from I-26 and 45 minutes from I-77. This little charm has two (2) Bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own full bathroom (1 King Size Bed and 1 Queen Size Bed), and an extra full guest bathroom (3 bathrooms). The Kitchen and Den area is an open concept, which includes laminate floors throughout the home. Direct TV and WIFI are available in evert room. Keycode lock entry. Sorry-THIS HOME IS NOT DESIGNED FOR A HUNTER’S CAMP.
Over a hundred years ago, builders were not concerned about level floors and squaring walls and level ceilings. As time passed, rooms were added, such as the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, causing unlevel flooring. If you can get passed the early historic 1900 engineering design, you will enjoy this touch-of-class.
The property is sitting on roughly 2 acres. Fully stock Customs design kitchen, including Expresso Machine and Keurig Coffee Maker (a second refrigerator is located in the laundry room), showers in every bathrooms (shower seat available), no tub, dual vanities in bedroom bath, mudroom, leather sofa, leather chair and leather chaise lounge, workstation with a 3 draw filing cabinet (kitchen area), Baby Pack & Play, Baby High Chair, spacious patio deck in the rear with patio furnisher, and a mini deck is off of one the bedroom, tankless water heater, washer and dryer, fire pit, tree swing, gas and charcoal grills w/utensils, bikes for little exerise, outdoor and indoor games available, such as Corn hole, horse shoe, play four, chess, dominoes, UNO. Parking available for RV, Boats and trucks. Guest with Children, PLEASE No Crayons, No Markers, No Play-Doh, nor any type of slime or putty games are allowed. NO CATS. Some dogs are allowed per request. Pet cleaning fee may be added if not approved. Please call me for any additional or special requests that you may need to make your stay comfortable.

The Locals, travel 15 minutes to Union for shopping, banking and restaurants. The Town of Carlisle has a Dollar General, Gas Station, Post Office, Town Hall, Fire Station, Playground, Racetrack, BBQ PIT and Churches. Very friendly lifetime neighbors.

Would stay again
Very clean, well supplied including outdoor games. Didn't get to spend much time there with a wedding, but I will definitely look for this place if I’m i. the area again.

Relaxing Country Getaway
My family of 4 did not want to leave this place. We watched the stars around the fire pit. We swang on the tree swing, Played Giant connect 4, Bird watched, and really enjoyed the state parks and scenery in the siurrounding areas. The neighbors are friendly. The neighborhood is so safe we left the soors unlocked some nights by accident, but there were no problems. We left car doors unlocked, no issues. The property manager is Amazing and thoughtful!! This house has everything you could need for a good time at home. They even dropped off a high chair after seeing that we had toddlers. Amazing home!! Amazing people! This was my best vrbo stay anywhere and Ive used the app for 2 years
