A one minute idle to the Suwannee River and five minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy fresh and saltwater fishing year round, or fish off of the dock. A public boat ramp is right around the corner as well as a general store and two marinas to purchase supplies. Plenty of creeks to explore in kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Enjoy walking and cycling around the quaint town and in the evening night enjoy the fire pit while star gazing.
This is a remodeled shed home. Not wheelchair accessible. There is a trundle bed that sleeps 2. The space is air conditioned and has a space heater. This is a cozy space. No smoking or vaping inside. Please do not put fish in the refrigerator or freezer. Please dispose of your garbage at the dump station which is about 2 miles outside of town. The dump is closed on Wednesday and Friday.
Feel free to fish off of the floating dock but you will not be able to park a boat at the dock. There is a boat ramp around the corner.
Please reach out on the booking platform if you have any questions or require additional assistance. Doris is the local co-host.
Quiet waterfront residential area.
Please be aware that the property is near water so it is customary to see water or Palmetto bugs which are indigenous to the area. Other wildlife reside in the area such as snakes, alligators and turtles. After all, they also need a place to call home. The property is on a canal so you may hear the sound of boats idling as they work there way to the Gulf.
