Let's take a walk through the listing together...Our rustic, cedar-sided Bridge Cottage is tucked under the trees at 2,600 feet elevation on our private 40-acre mountain ridge. As you arrive to to the property, enjoy the peaceful drive through the forest of mature trees that will seem like something out of a movie set. The cabin itself is no different. Tucked in the woods with a sense of natural beauty. As you walk in the cabin you will immediately appreciate the casual charm of the cottage's interior with tongue-in-groove cedar walls and ceiling, rough-cut cedar beams, and hickory hardwood flooring throughout. There is a 50" Smart-TV with internet speeds high enough to stream an evening show if you've had enough nature for the day. The open concept living room area includes a small but fully-equipped kitchen with eating area. There is a full bathroom with an extra large shower with a built in bench as well. It's perfect after a long day hike in the National Park or rafting in the Nantahala Gorge!

The bedroom is extra spacious with English country-cottage style decor, luxurious queen bed with pillow-top Beauty Rest mattress. We provide high thread count sheets and a comfy down-alternative pillow top comforter. You will find a rocking chair in the corner of the bedroom perfect for winding down with a book and glass of wine in the evenings. Grab a sweater and enjoy a cup of coffee during our brisk mountain mornings on our covered deck! There is something special about relaxing on the deck listening to it rain while being fully immersed in the fog of the Smoky Mountains. Give us a call or book with us today to experience the natural beauty and tranquility of a woodland wonderland in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina!

Cozy Cabin
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Buffalo Creek Bridge Cabin. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The rooms were larger than the pictures portray them to be, so that was a nice surprise. The living area had a big comfy chair and comfy couch. The bathroom boasted a large, steam shower that was very nice after a full day of hiking. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. There's a little room in between the bedroom and the living area that is not pictured in the listing, and it was my favorite little space with a desk & chair, books, and some hooks for hanging up whatever you need. The bedroom had a portable A/C unit that vented out a window and the living area was cooled by a unit in the wall of the kitchen space. By far my favorite part of the entire place was the bridge outside. It was a lovely, peaceful place to sit and hang out first thing in the morning and at the end of a long day of exploring. The cabin is within 5 mins or so of main street Bryson City, so it's convenient to whatever you want to explore there.
