About this property

Luxe Jungle Retreat Close to San Ignacio

Welcome to Sarinam (Sanskrit for Sanctuary). This brand new 2 BR home with huge veranda tucked into the jungle is just that! It’s a beautifully decorated and appointed sanctuary from which you can explore and adventure in Western Belize. It's close to the Bullet Tree Falls village, where you'll find several cute cafes, a legit French bakery and a grocery store. The emerald green Mopan River is just across the road, and inner tubes are available for a fun and relaxing float!

Sarinam is a few minutes, yet a world away, from bustling San Ignacio. It's fully air conditioned and features vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, cozy bedrooms with high end linens, fully appointed kitchen and bath, outdoor dining area on the veranda (where your hammock also awaits!) and 17 acres of jungle trails right outside the door!

Wake to the sounds of the jungle (birds and maybe even howler monkeys), gaze into the mesmerizing foliage from the outdoor lounge area, and take a walk along the peaceful paths for miles! Next door you'll find Balance Point Wellness, where you can get a massage, Maya healing session, or a spa treatment, or even take a yoga class in the outdoor yoga pavilion, which is just a short walk through the jungle. So Cool!

Kate, our property manager and owner of Balance Point, will be available to answer questions and to help guide you as you venture out to explore all the wonders and adventure that the area has to offer: Mayan ruins, caving, water adventures, cultural tours, the iguana sanctuary, chocolate factory and so much more!

Every one of our past guests has raved about the character, hominess and comfort of this place. We hope you will get the chance to do so as well!

Great stay near San Ignacio
We enjoyed our stay at the Sarinam cabin very much. The house had everything we needed and communication with the property manager (Kate from Ananda Studio next door) was great! The property is adjacent to the Mopan River, so we borrowed the inner tubes to float down stream one afternoon, fun! You can launch in your inner tubes at Mahogany Hall boutique resort just a few minutes walk down the road (great cocktails at Mahogany’s bar too!). A howler money family visited the tree canopy overhead one morning, so fun to hear and see! Downtown San Ignacio is a 10min, easy drive from the house.

Great Stay in the Jungle
Had a great stay in the jungle! Playing cards on the porch with all the jungle sounds and the creek running by was such a great experience. Seeing howler monkeys on the property was also a highlight. The property manager Kate always made sure we had what we needed. About 10 minutes outside of downtown San Ignacio, so away from the crowds, but close enough to go in for dinner or whatever.
