About this property

Vintage Carriage House on Chatham Square

This is a beautifully remodeled Carriage House at the historic Chatham House right off of Chatham Square. Located 2 blocks from Forsyth Park and within walking distance to all of Downtown Savannah and the Victorian District. All mattresses are Tuft & Needle memory foam.

A midcentury showpiece brought into the modern era, the space has a full Calphalon anodized cookware and bakeware set. The Moccamaster coffee maker replicates a beautiful classic pour-over, but at scale for the number of guests. Cangshan Japanese cutlery for all the slicing and dicing, and an electric kettle for tea on demand.

All TV's are smart TV's with, access to all your apps and each has a Chromecast Ultra for 4k streaming.

We offer super-plush towels and a full suite of care products by Public Goods that are free of every harmful chemical under the sun and scented with just essential oils.

Everything. Treat it like a home and it'll feel like a home.

We leave you it to it. The entire check-in/out process is completely digital. But, if you need us, just send a message through the app and we'll get right on it.

Best by foot.
PARKING: Park your car south on Tattnall for free just a block up the street and then forget about it. Except on street sweeping nights. You can also find free spots on Gordon.

Otherwise, you will be looking for metered street parking. Beware of street sweeping signs for the early morning hours. Should you need a spot, we highly recommend you download the Park Savannah app to pay. Makes it much more convenient. Meters are free after 5PM and on the weekends.

Lastly, the city has visitor parking passes. Visitor Parking Passes are $15.00 (1 day) and $24.00 (2 day). The Visitor DAYPASS is available at Mobility & Parking Services, 100 East Bryan Street BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call ahead.

Bikes are available for your riding pleasure. Please message us for the waiver to get the lock code for use.
HOUSE RULES

-Noise is a big deal in Savannah. The City Ordinance states that a sound can't be above 50 decibels (dB) between 7 PM and 7 AM for residential homes. This is a conversational volume.

-Any courtyard or outdoor area must be vacated by 10 PM Friday – Saturday and 9 PM Sunday – Thursday out of courtesy to the neighbors and other guests. This is also to comply with the City of Savannah Noise Ordinance. It is our main concern that you truly enjoy your visit to Savannah. The city will assess heavy fines for violation of the noise ordinance.

-This is a lodging-only property. No parties are allowed on the grounds except for events utilizing the whole estate and where the owner grants a permit.

-We cannot accommodate late check-outs and need you to please observe the designated check-out time (11 AM). This is a large property, and the place must be cleaned and readied for the next guest, and our cleaners work on very tight schedules.

-We cannot accommodate early check-ins for the same reason. If you need a place to store your bag before your designated check-in time of (4 PM), you can drop your bags off in the room any time after (12 PM)

-Please always remove shoes in the house. This helps with noise for any guests that may be below you, protects the floors, keeps the home clean, and is a simple rule that helps everyone.

-Smoking is never allowed on any part of the property, courtyards, garages, or patios. Would you please leave the premises if you need to smoke? Savannah is beautiful to walk around.

- We cannot fix or refund any issue not brought to us as it occurs, not after your stay.

- Bath products are for use during your stay and are not to be taken.

Thank you in advance for complying with the house rules. I look forward to hosting you!

Great location and apartment
Great location about a 20 minute walk to the river. The neighbourhood was very quiet and clean as was the unit itself. There is a spiral metal staircase that takes you up to the bedroom and bathroom. Our dog was a bit leery of it so had to be carried up. Other than that a perfect place and would definitely stay again.
