Amazing property and location at a great price!
We booked this last minute for Spring Break 2024 and were more than happy with our stay. We travelled with 4 teenagers and this house provided the perfect floorplan for everyone (including the adults) to have their own space. The boys stayed in the back wing of the house that was attached but separated from the main house - like an in-law suite and came complete with it's own small Kitchen, two generously sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The girls stayed in the two bedrooms downstairs that each came with their own bathroom. There was nothing that this house lacked. All of the utensils for cooking were provided and there were plenty of conveniences if you were travelling with small kids. Even though we didn't need them, I was impressed that a highchair and a baby-gate were included. We appreciated the coffee maker AND separate Keurig Coffee maker and enjoyed having our morning coffee on the east balcony overlooking the lake. The host provided K-cups and a nice basket of snacks that came in handy because we didn't make it to Publix in time and of course everyone was suddenly starving. This property was in a gated community and felt safe enough to allow the kids to explore on their own. The house was a quick walk to both pools and the beach and we appreciated that all of the necessary beach accoutrements were included - wheeled cart, chairs, towels, and floats. Hammock Beach had some great restaurants on site and we ventured off property as well. This is such a great community is a "non-touristy" area of the East Coast and I am looking forward to returning soon.
